They should also sanction fascist leaders and business supporters in the US. Freeze their European accounts, cancel government contracts, etc.

The Rutte text is why Trump likes him, for now. Trump has the emotional development of a toddler.

He's a severe malignant narcissist. Period.

Canada seriously modeling an insurgency against a possible American attack and still the congressional GOP will not move an inch. One cannot even say it's incredible since they are a craven bunch.

"European Parliament freezes ratification of trade agreement with the United States.

The European Parliament has decided to suspend the ratification process of the trade agreement between the European Union and the United States, following the latest threats from Donald Trump, its main political groups confirmed on Tuesday.

There is a "majority agreement" among the political groups to freeze the trade agreement concluded last year between the United States and the EU, the leader of the S&D group (social democrats), Iratxe Garcia Pérez, told reporters."

    Sweet Jesus, what a clusterf*ck.

Are there no republicans with enough of a backbone to finally say this has gone too far? How can anybody with half a conscience stand by this insanity?

He's completely cooked. If he wasn't such an awful person, you might start feeling sympathy for someone unraveling like this in public, when he really should be playing out his days in care.
I imagine part of it is that he has never had friends to have genuine conversations with.

The nice thing about that list is it tells us which were the 8 "wars" that "he" ended (#s 141-148):

    Israel v Hamas
    Israel v Iran
    Armenia v Azerbaijan
    India v Pakistan
    DR Congo v Rwanda
    Cambodia v Thailand
    Kosovo v Serbia
    Egypt v Ethiopia
    Alderon v Galactic Empire (probably)

Don't worry, I was reliably informed by Scott Bessent that nothing that the EU might do could possibly harm the U.S. economically, so this is totally fine.

He was completely gone when he had a presser where he talked about injecting bleach to cure COVID-19. Or when he talked about sharks and batteries. None of this stuff matters. He could come up to the podium and smear himself in shit and it would be sane-washed.

  18. Well, your problem is a two-party system that's broken.
A Perot type guy succeeding in making a third party making a difference would be a big step in the right direction.

  20. What would their reaction be if we offered them citizenship and free healthcare?
Alot of the military are in it because of the "easy" way to get US citizenship. Dest's father was such an example.
With the tanman's actions I dunno if that us citizenship is still a coveted situation.

  23. Well, let's say moving in is the easy part.
Staying alive is another matter. And the support by the Scandinavian and Baltic countries on how to fight an enemy not used to the freezing conditions could be a deadly attribute.
The USA can't fight Canada, it results in a calamitous military overstretch.
You havenot got the manpower to control the whole of Canada, because deploying everybody there would mean all of your bases elsewhere in the world will be run over, and still you wouldnot be able to control, nor can you limit yourself to occupying the cities, because that means your sitting ducks to be popped.

The USA could conquer Canada in a couple of days. But the Mujahideen would look like Girl Scouts if the USA tried to stay.

    This is beyond embarrassing.......

US treasury secretary Scott Bessent's message to Europe over Greenland at Davos:“sit back”, “take a deep breath” but “not retaliate” and “let things play out.”
