...so, the punching is more so admonishing, ridiculing and shaming...whatever it takes really, to wake people up to the reality of the situation. We have to have party loyalty and unity or we're well and truly doomed. These socialist kids who hate the Dems have to decide if they are better off with fascism, which seems ludicrous and 100% self-defeating, or, will they stand and fight with Democrats...but people really struggle with what it means to live in a two-party system where you might get some of what you want...or fascism.
