Who do I write to recommend Trump change his main song at his rallies from "YMCA" to "Turn Me Loose" by Loverboy "The craziest boy you ever seen I gotta do it my way Or no way at all And I was here to please I'm even on my knees Making love to whoever I please *cue dance miming jerking-off 2 guys at once* I gotta do it my way Or no way at all And then you came around Tried to tie me down I was such a clown"
This pretty much proves that Trump knows he's committing war crimes and he's far from being done. Washington has warned it will impose new sanctions on the International Criminal Court unless the court agrees not to pursue future cases against Trump or his senior officials. The U.S. is also demanding the ICC drop investigations into Israeli leaders over the Gaza war and formally end a probe into alleged crimes by U.S. troops in Afghanistan. But hey - the axis of evil are the bad guys
Xiomara Castro declared the Honduras elections null in a speech on December 9, 2025, citing fraud and US interference, coinciding with the release of Juan Orlando Hernández by Trump. For someone who hates "shithole" countries - he sure can't stop himself from interfering in their internal affairs
Well, in this case, the US definitely needs Federal level AI regulations to prevent the current patchwork of regulations, but the reason why there is a patchwork is because the Feds are too damn slow.
Looks like Quakes and Kaz have a lot of hippie punching to do. When they've finished, their coalition of the willing will be more impressive than Dubya's!
There's so much wrong here and I apologize if anyone has already addressed it. Just because it's "fringe" doesn't mean a stink shouldn't be made about it. Having @Auriaprottu post here was beyond fringe at one point. Having be anything but an enslaved farmhand was the only "reasonable" use for him. Folk made a big stink about it and now he enjoys most of the same freedoms as white folk. And people still kicking up a fuss that he isn't 100% equal as they should. Not wanting to support a genocide is fringe, I guess. And yes Biden is a war criminal and a liar about the whole thing. While I still cast my vote for him, I'm also not the one who saw friends, relatives, or those of my ethnicity being slaughtered on TV, nor gaslit by the government about how they deserved it. And gaslit that those who wanted to end it were violent Jews hating extremists and got what they deserved when clearly not. And "punching left" by definition means punching democrat. It is telling that instead of trying to build a coalition the plan is to beat them into submission instead.
Miller's been making a good argument that candidates should try to be heterodox on at least an issue or two these days so they can run against 'establishment washington" and the damaged dem brand So for instance, because affordable healthcare is such a big issue with voters now, you could campaign on M4A, not because it's popular or has any chance of a vote, but because it signals a break from the failed status quo and shows you as a reformer This is why IMO, Kamala should have broken with Biden on Gaza - it would have been a signal that she saw the need for change, and would actually get attention, as opposed to her well meaning housing reforms which got zero gut through
If he is taking one of the standard dementia assessment tests, it is worse than that. My dad did the SLUMS (St. Louis University Mental Status exam), and that is what I'm occasionally testing my mom with. https://www.slu.edu/medicine/intern...fully/assessment-tools/mental-status-exam.php And it's an oral exam, so Trump should pass it easily since he is very much non-written. Mom struggled with a couple of questions since she is very much about the written word. Of course, saying Trump should pass assumes he doesn't have dementia. What I'd like to know is what test he is taking and what his score is.
From the deck of the HMS Pedantic: A centibillionaire would have a hundredth of a billion, i.e. ten million bucks. I imagine you meant a hectobillionaire.
Being in the resume way myself these days, I might have Copilot do mine in this voice. Probably get an Ambassadorship.
I think the big issue that most are frustrated about is affordability. And my "most," I mean people worried about having to buy a new car, or can't buy a home, or worried about health insurance coverage, or the price of groceries, etc. And this is being demonstrated by the K-shaped economy right now, where those of us who have enough income are doing fine, but that not the majority. For most of this year, the data have shown that those in the upper ranges of income are propping up the economy, which to somebody who lives in the upper ranges of the economy and interacts with such people, does not hear the problems. And I don't mean just Trump, but most of the long serving and older Congresspeople. Gaza was a no-win for Harris in the short time she had to campaign. Had she broken from Biden, I don't think it would have made much of a difference as it was such a low level of importance overall. When I listened to Longwell, those voters almost never mentioned Gaza.
On the one hand, Quakes shouldn’t respond every time there’s some tangential mention of socialism or woke or whatever. On the other hand, people who disagree with them shouldn’t bait them every chance they get either. The tit for tatting sucks.
I'll miss The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, in Aptos. One of the great redwood forests and always a favorite for hiking and biking.
