Exactly--I'm sure that's the "DEI" aspect of it that they were reacting to. I'm now at work typing on a keyboard--when I initially reacted, I was on my phone and didn't feel like typing out a longer answer with my thumbs.
This is a year on from the election, and things have significantly changed. For example: https://news.gallup.com/poll/657404/less-half-sympathetic-toward-israelis.aspx That is from back in March. It also asks a different question: general sympathy versus starvation.* The bigger question, though, is where it ranks on voters' importance. The point @Kazuma has been getting at for well over a year is that there is a group of voters here in the US that sees this as a single issue to vote on, and specifically viewed Harris as not a viable candidate for dealing with the Palestine issue. * - We in the US tend to poll fairly high when asked about concerns about people starving in foreign locations, but overall, rank it fairly low to moderate on things of importance to us to vote on.
Trump doing his thing. https://apnews.com/article/trump-affordability-pennsylvania-speech-6a7884b814f448ab6b17b9d924a356ba On the road in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, President Donald Trump tried to emphasize his focus on combating inflation, yet the issue that has damaged his popularity couldn’t quite command his full attention. The president told the crowd gathered at a casino and resort in Mount Pocono that inflation was no longer a problem and that Democrats had used the term “affordability” as a “hoax” to hurt his reputation. But his remarks weaved wildly to include grievances he first raised behind closed doors in his first term in 2018 — and later denied saying — asking why the U.S. doesn’t have more immigrants from Scandinavia. And, probably surprising nobody, he also went after Rep. Omar.
DO you still have friends who are happy to be in the locus of power in this administration? ARE they still there, still happy?
I'm seeing more. Sorry for the Xweet, but there is video Trump’s affordability speech is now him talking about how children only need one or two pencils and how you don’t need 37 dolls for your daughter pic.twitter.com/0lPKNdsAbM— Acyn (@Acyn) December 10, 2025 He says that people don't need "37 pencils," but just 2 or 3 will do. And people don't need "37 dolls," just 2 or 3 will do. That's how you fight affordability, folks.
A Trump bleat. So much here, so insecure. He took 3 cognitive exams? And why did he need a large number of doctors to administer them?
Socially, I only know one person who works for the Trump administration, and it's in a politically and ideologically non-controversial role. My wife interacts with many people from the Trump administration and other Republicans, but that's just part of the job.
Can't be surprised that the rest of the world is having the impression that most Americans are like this - they elected him
Man, on the fonts front don’t use Comic Sans like Dan Gilbert of Rocket Mortgage and the Cleveland Cavaliers did when LeBron left for Miami. anyway. Times New Roman, Arial, and Helvetica are my preferred ones. Easy to read.
Real Americans are sick of Euro trash Cartel members and Chyneeze bus tours clogging up our national treasures.America First Tourism! -Missy Mc Hale,Patriot Travels (who is sick of losing bookings and knows old wypipo are too stupid to use Kayak)
I don’t want to alarm anyone unduly, but last night I finished Blitzed. It’s a book about how Nazis used drugs. The first part focuses on how Blitzkriegs were made possible by handing out methamphetamine to German soldiers. The last part focuses on Hitler’s personal doctor and the hard-to-believe quantity and variety of crap and shit he pumped into Hitler. The last part of the book felt like the era we are just now entering, where Trump is not capable of doing his job but everyone pretends he’s in perfect health. Some of the quotes from various Nazi insiders about Hitler sound a hell of a lot like what gets said at cabinet meetings.
I know this is Trump but why would he brag about "acing" (LOL!) cognitive tests and even mentioning they have given him three, I'm guessing (semi-)recently? He is admitting he is so cuckoo even his entourage of sycophants apparently deems it necessary to figure out how many cards in the deck are already missing.
Check the cognition text if not familiar. He is bragging about being able to draw a clock and name 20 animals
Because he has narcissistic personality disorder and people are saying he has dementia and this is how he avoids decompensation.
What fkn world does this demented fool live in when he goes to bed. It’s slopping over into his daily life when he naps
