Okay. There was a policy change of some kind for increasing the shipping into the EU, and that greatly benefited two major ports, one in Netherlands and one in Belgium. This was circa 2020, or maybe a couple years before. Increased trade, but also increased drug trafficking.
Understand. My post was more about providing the link than explaining to you. Some of resisted using that link thinking that it is Trump's social media website.
No, because most people aren't ideological. But they care if the economy and nation are screwed up and there are consequences for that. Historically, what prevents people from doing the same thing is remembering how terribly fascism screwed everything up before.
Ooh they're compiling a naughty list Attorney General Pam Bondi is ordering the FBI to “compile a list of groups or entities engaging in acts that may constitute domestic terrorism,” according to a Justice Department memo published here exclusively. The target is those expressing “opposition to law and immigration enforcement; extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders; adherence to radical gender ideology,” as well as “anti-Americanism,” “anti-capitalism,” and “anti-Christianity.” You can rat 4 cash: In addition to compiling a list of undesirables, Bondi directs the FBI to enhance the capabilities (and publicity) of its tipline in order to more aggressively solicit tips from the American public on, well, other Americans. To that end, Bondi also directs the FBI to establish “a cash reward system” for information leading to identification and arrest of leadership figures within these purported domestic terrorist organizations. (The memo later instructs the FBI to “establish cooperators to provide information and eventually testify against other members” of the groups.) https://www.kenklippenstein.com/p/l...e&r=1j871&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email
Not sure how that negates my point that are no consequences for fascism. Fine in theory but it didn't seem to work, did it.
The point is that, if the dems DO manage to grab the reins again, we can't have any of this 'heal the nation' shite we had before. These people need to be hammered... and hammered hard.
Unfortunately the only one who seems interested in hammering hard is Gavin Newsom and Democrats don’t much care for him so we might as well grab our vices and head for the doom thread. Dems would rather attack each other and fantasize about socialist nonsense than get their shit together.
I have but my experience with these young socialists has been all bad. @Sufjan Guzan has been about the most reasonable I've encountered. My experience goes back to the run up to the 2016 election when the woke hammer and sickle Bernie bro kids had it in for us regular old Dems. They liked to blame us old "establishment" Dems for everything and didn't seem to much care that their lack of enthusiasm for our candidate could mean a trip back to the Dark Ages. This to me feels like that same history repeating itself. The left can't stick together when it matters, for far too many reasons.
The only thing Gavin is interested in is Gavin. Hell kneecap and sell our whomever he can to satiate himself. Let's not forget he was teasing the idea of joining these freaks before the backlash was too much.
Lefties don't like winning. Newsom likes winning. No. I also like winning. Sounds like a man with the temperament we need for the moment. Get onboard! Seriously, holier-than-thou lefties would rather fight with the Democrats so they can feel pure in their principles than fight fascism by getting behind Newsom, who is the only person (so far) who has shown the temperament to meet the moment and and the willingness beat fascism.
Nice roasting of Kegsbreath. Don't ever let them get comfortable Whiskey Pete is getting roasted like a motherfucker pic.twitter.com/1jFtkXQ5CN— Mykhaïlo Golub (@golub) December 8, 2025
Cotton's not winning Presidency because he's devoid of charisma. I have a better chance of dating Aubrey Plaza than he does winning Presidency. There's a higher likelihood of Arsenal winning the Champions League I've said before he looks like the second best salesman at a regional insurance company. And just about everyone at said company either tolerates him at best or just doesn't like him.
Speculation doesn't wipe the floor with anyone. We'll see if Mark Kelly ever goes beyond speculation.
I'll vote for Gavin for President. I'm not certain I'll vote for him in the primary though. It is 2years and 4 months away before I'll have my say.
Dem Poll Reveals Clear Frontrunner for 2028 Presidential Election Fall 2025 Results | Yale Youth Poll "...California Governor Gavin Newsom leads the 2028 presidential primary with 25% support, followed by former Vice President Kamala Harris (18%), Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (16%), and former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg (14%). All other candidates received less than 5% support. "
