I'm curious to see what will happen in Congress. Will the Senate agree with the House? Will the House convene a committee? If so, will they request documents from the DoJ? If so, can the DoJ deny that request?
Will this be the long overdue constitutional crisis over child rape? I can just imagine the history books of our grandkids.
So this sucky bumbler resigned from FEMA. I laughed when I first read this but there's really nothing funny about it (Wiki) In June, Reuters reported that Richardson had said that he was unaware that the U.S. had a hurricane season. The Department of Homeland Security stated that he was joking. Hours later, The Wall Street Journal reported that Richardson had only recently learned of the Atlantic hurricane season and that the agency was reverting to the previous year's hurricane plan.
This could probably go in the Media Fail Thread because no one followed up on it or reacted to it https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/18/us/video/trump-snaps-reporter-epstein-quiet-piggy-digvid *broken record* in normal times this would sink someone but...........
At that point you may call yourself a journalist and your employer might call you one but you really are not.
Not sure where to put this: https://apnews.com/article/redistri...awsuit-trump-ab4dc519717c6661c63e116c9f26d899 A federal court on Tuesday blocked Texas from using a redrawn U.S. House map that touched off a nationwide redistricting battle and is a major piece of President Donald Trump’s efforts to preserve a slim Republican majority ahead of the 2026 elections. The ruling is a blow to Trump’s rush to create a more favorable political landscape for Republicans in next year’s midterms, at least for now. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott vowed a swift appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court and defended the map that was engineered to give Republicans five additional House seats. But in a 2-1 ruling, a panel of federal judges in El Paso sided with opponents who argued that Texas’ unusual summer redrawing of congressional districts would harm Black and Hispanic residents. The decision was authored by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey V. Brown, who was nominated to the bench by Trump during his first term. Mind, this goes against the idea that Chief Justice Roberts has promoted, but still a nice temporary victory.
From the AP live feed: Trump dismisses criticism of Crown Prince over 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, saying ‘Things happen’ The president said the Crown Prince “knew nothing about it” and said of Khashoggi that “a lot of people didn’t like that gentleman.” Trump lashed out at a reporter who asked the question, calling her “fake news” and chastising her saying “you don’t have to embarrass our guest by asking him a question like that.” Trump says ABC should have its broadcast license taken away The president lashed out again at the same reporter who asked another question about releasing files related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, criticizing her attitude and the way she asks questions. He then said that he thinks the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and it’s so wrong.” He then referred to Federal Communications Commission chairman Brendan Carr, who has been a staunch ally and launched investigations into several networks. Carr also said to ABC before it took comic Jimmy Kimmel off the air following his comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination that “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.” Trump, after calling for ABC’s license to be revoked, said Tuesday that Carr “should look at that.”
Charlie getting a blowhole under a cheap tent just after saying a racism. Well shit - things happen. (shrugs)
Have you seen the White House? It would be plastic, bought at Home Depot, then spray painted in gold.
In 2021 Trump commuted the sentence of a white collar criminal. Now he’s crimed again. Imagine what it’s going to be like in January 2029. https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2025/nov/14/ponzi-schemer-who-got-trump-clemency-faces-50-year/
I know this has happened so many times by now that asking this feels futile, but still, can you imagine the horror and gnashing of teeth at Fox if Obama had called a female reporter piggy?
Let's scroll down and take one paragraph entirely out of context: “Fifty-year sentences are usually reserved for the most hardened criminals, like murderers or terrorists – not people who are wholly non-violent, like Mr. Weinstein,” Haramati said in an email.
