Well, the Supreme Court, who spent decades destroying bribery laws, coincidentally said no one has standing to go after a president enriching themself. It's a "political" issue so Congress are the only ones to do anything. You know...cause the Founders were all for bribery from Europe.
Georgia’s governor has maintained popularity while keeping some distance between him and Trump. MTG is probably thinking of a Senate run soon. She’s picking a lane. That’s my take.
That’s pretty counter factual there. I remember arguments about the number of Jewish neocons driving our foreign policy, the back and forth about whether criticizing the Bush/Cheney agenda was antisemitic or not.
Then why initially ask for Dear Leader's endorsement in that Senate race? The rumblings I've heard is that she actually feels personally betrayed by Trump for her intense loyalty previously. She's basically got nothing from him in support and/or appointments in 2.0, despite being behind him longer than most of existing cabinet.
I looked this up. The current admin had a direct hand in 2 peace treaties (Armenia/Azerbaijan and Cambodia/Thailand) part of a coalition in Rwanda/Congo Serbia/Kosovo and Egypt/Ethiopia were tense, but apparently didn't know they were at war. India and Pakistan - both countries have differing opinions on whether Trump was even involved. Israel and Iran - it was more of a "we stopped bombing." Israel and Hamas - a tenous peace deal at best.
If she wants to shore up her favor with Trumpers, there's some footage of her telling a Black man that she's afraid of him. She was prepared to go Scottsboro on him right then and there. I'll try to find the video if it hasn't been purged
They are engaging with him in the correct way. I have said from the start that if the American president is now for sale, we should buy him. EU should invent some "Greatest Businessman EVER" award and give it to Trump. Make it made out of gold and as gaudy as possible.
Given the amount of attention it got around the world AND the obvious link with racism being seen in those articles the damage is huge. Only there's one very big problem...this bunch of low life creeps don't care. The consider themselves as untouchable, so they do their racist thing, at home and abroad, and don't give a fock what furriners think of them.
https://georgiarecorder.com/briefs/...shell-skip-georgias-2026-race-for-governor/44 This says she's not considering a 2026 Senate run.
Trump is all about what is good for Trump, and he is willing to cast aside anybody for his own benefit. In this case, it is about the Epstein files. MTG has been loyal on so many things around Trump, but not that. And it seems that this is what is most important for Trump (at least right now), so he's at odds with MTG. I doubt it will last and doesn't really take away from the shitty person that MTG is. But she has not been out there for Trump the way Trump desires, and that is something he will notice. So, she's just experiencing the transactional nature of all his relationships.
I was at the Eastern Conference Final at RFK -- Rimando saving the PK from Clint Dempsey to send them to the Championship game -- that game was unreal.
I've been thinking about where Trump is and what it would take for a critical mass of people in the administration and Congress to think about making moves to remove Trump. You know Vance is thinking about it, but he's too much of a novice to pull it off. As they say, if you go after the King, you better not miss. Vance would likely trip and stab himself. Trump isn't going to get better -- and there must be people who are looking for an offramp that gives them a way to break with Trump and preserve their own skins.
I found the details in that paragraph telling. Maybe she took the advice to heart, but not the way they meant. Maybe she thinks if she’s enough of an IC to oppose pedophilia, she could win in a general election.
Going after him is a suicide pact. There's no one set to take his place. It'd lead to incredible chaos and who knows what.
I'm naive for hoping this but I'm seriously hoping watch prices go down now. There's an Omega I have eyes on. Anyway, this time around I'm just assuming the corruption is baked in.
