In a world where the US is as corrupt as Qatar and China, that won’t be an issue in future bids OFC doesn’t have any countries large enough to host a World Cup and they aren’t going to do a joint bud with CONMEBOL. New Zealand is the most likely and they’d be a joint with Australia which would be 2 AFC in a row. It stopped CONMEBOL from bidding for 2034. May I remind you that the last time Mexico solo hosted was in 1986 and FIFA’s standards have changed significantly since then.
True but they could partner with Canada and perhaps include Central America. Both Mexico and Canada wanted to bid solo for a 32-team world cup for 2026 before the format change. There's very little doubt that they could do it together and games would be split more evenly. Besides, hard to see the US hosting for the region a third time in a row Lastly, Trump antics aren't helping a future US bid getting the necessary votes to win a solo bid. It's not about "FIFA loves money" - it's also about getting the majority of the votes and we can all agree that most nations would be more than happy to send a message.
