I would also add…if you’re under the age of 25, you don’t really remember a Republican Party not dominated by Trump. It’s like ICE now vs. ICE five years ago…joining ICE in 2020 or the GOP in 2010 sort of puts you on a watch list of being potentially a shitty person. Joining ICE now, or the Trump era Republican Party, takes “potentially” out of the equation. Either of those, and you’re definitely a shitty person. I’ll be dead or too senile to care, but imagine if/when these youngsters joining Trump’s Republican Party are in their primes. They won’t be reluctantly dragged into fascism like Thune and Johnson and the rest. They’ll be the ones doing the dragging.
That's because JC had whiskers and it took me about 5 minutes to figure out where I'd heard that voice. for me, that film was all about the "oh, damn, that's Johnny Cash" moment, not that it was a bad film. I mean, those guys got me to sit thru a film about Jesse James. I draw the line at Wes Hardin, tho, idgaf who the actor is. Also, I think of Kristofferson as an actor who had a few songs, because I don't know much about either side of him. Cash and Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers were musical legends who got to play cowboys from time to time.
The thing about this, can anyone on either side of the political spectrum pretend to be surprised by this? Not just progressives, but conservatives, if they can manage to be honest. I would be far more surprised and shocked if these young asshats didn't engage in deeply racist and offensive language in their private conversations.

Looks like the Chinese weren't bluffing. Their overall export increased despite a 27% drop to the US. However, the US now only accounts for 10% of their exports, so it does seem they are willing to live without the US if they have too.
First time in 99 years an NFL team won back to back games with identical scores. In 1926 the Frankfort Yellow Jackets beat the Detroit Panthers 7-6, then did the same thing to the Bears a week later. The Yellow Jackets morphed into today’s Eagles.
Both of them are strange scores too…although in the 1920s there weren’t many field goals, so maybe that one’s not THAT weird. But you’d think some team, some time, won 24-17 in back to back weeks. Maybe that’s just one point games?

I have a family member, he's 13. A cousin of mine basically. (Big family, long story). Not to sound hard but I have a speech ready if I ever and I mean ever catch him talking like that (Thankfully his parents are great). And it involves mentioning our great-grandfather, who was in France during WW2. And some of the stuff he did in France. Along with a photobook from my great-grandfather's time there I have stored in my home. Same for if my sibling ever has kids, especially a boy. Last thing I want to hear is him talking like a Nazi.
