better. but you could just steer clear of this thread if its uncomfortable for you. its been a lively debate, but we could probably move on from this sub topic.
Frankly this is unhinged, buddy. You should be able to discuss this topic without making things up and insulting me.
Exhibit A: Now here’s the thing, buddy. I’ve never said anything about the ethnicity of Mamdani. You’re the one making things up about me and then you get offended when I’m pointing out you want to call me a bigot. Because it sure seems like it with what you wrote. If you want to, do it. I’ll just laugh. But again, I don’t think you have the courage.
Maybe you can tell me, what is it about his brand of socialism that’s appealing and do you honestly see embracing socialism as a winning strategy for Democrats in our effort to come back from the dead?
So... socialists are on deck, with gays and POCs in the water... "Coming back" as a White party closely resembling the GOP isn't a comeback. It's joining what America's people won't let you beat.
Ha! Prejudice does not mean bigotry and I never implied you were a bigot. What actually happened was: I pointed out you were ignorant of the facts (you claimed that Mamdani didn't vote for Harris). You resorted to distraction and insults. What courage! You know it's telling that The New York Times has reported that the only way Cuomo can win the race is if the Republican nominee drops out.
Well, they are refusing to seat a Democrat in the House that won a special election by a clear margin (allegedly) because she will be the 218th signature to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5543576-johnson-grijalva-seating-delay/
Democratic Socialists will surely save the day because if we've learned anything, it's that America is now primed and ready for socialism!
Pritzker with the classic "Come and get me". From a perspective of narrative, Pritzker is nailing it and Democrats should be repeating it. https://www.msnbc.com/chris-jansing-reports/watch/pritzker-to-trump-come-and-get-me-249368133645
Exactly. The last few pages of conversation in this thread have been premised on upcoming elections being free and fair. They won't be. Who endorses whom is a pointless argument at this point and only serves to distract from the current existential problem.
Come on.. Just admit you were wrong in saying Mamdani helped get Trump elected so that I can also point out why you are wrong about Democratic Socialists!
I've been toying with the idea that he should have arrested and deported any Texas National Guard who enters Illinois and carries a weapon. I'm sure there are a lot of negatives to that, but we are at the point that Democrats have to take a stand.
It seems to me all this talk about what some regional politician did or didn't do in the last presidential election is missing the forest for the trees. The fact of the matter is a huge portion of the US electorate took a look at both candidates and decided to give the felonious sexual predator another crack at it, just for the LULZ. Voters have agency, and they exercised it willingly.
If you’re going to lie, can you at least be good at it? Because you’re obviously not. And if you bothered reading (you didn’t) instead of being self righteous, I’ve said (consistently) that he never endorsed her. At a time where it was all hands on deck. But hey, righteous indignation!
Zohran Mamdani's mayoral campaign faces skepticism from moderates He's a dream come true for Trump and his party as we gear up for next year's mid-terms.
