Larrionda did the US-Costa Rica WCQ in Kansas City. A couple controversial calls in that game. We've seen Carlos Batres in CONCACAF games through the years but I don't know if we'll get a ref from our Confederation at this tournament. Coffi Codija did the Costa Rica-Turkey match at the WC. I remember it as being poorly officiated, but he was stuck with that linesman who didn't appear to know the offside rule.
Depends - not if you count the Parks "clearance" of Wolff off the line. Tho that's not really a center's call.
Can we start bitching about these refs? You just know they are going to screw us with bad calls. The whole world is biased against us, and our boys are always right.
Add the guy who called the phantom handball on Greg Berhalter in Costa Rica to that list (was it Prendergast?).

never heard of these guys, but I'm sure they're real assholes. I'm bitter about the crappy calls they're going to make already.
