Whatever happend to those things that we call "ethics"?

Anyway, isn't this american Johnny Walker's team? He got a concusion during the play that caused the free kick. His team had used all 3 subs, so they had to use a field player for goal keeper.

It wasn't really a big deal, because the ref had no idea which way Pedro Gonzales was gonna kick the ball to. He was just repeating to Cristian Alvarez what his teammates were telling him.

he still shouldn't have said anything. i have to stop myself from coaching from the touchline when i'm in uniform. PUSH UP! or YOU'RE OFFSIDE! i could be very helpful...but ethics say keep ur mouth shut.

In the FSW Report lead last night, they mentioned a Chilean referee being suspended and showed a short video clip of the referee saying something to the keeper.

However, I didn't watch the show clear through and didn't see this segment, so I don't have the details. I've done a search and can't find anything about it, so I can't say for sure what happened, but it appears the Chilean federation may have suspended him for his actions.

It's on all the soccer wires. The referee -- Carlos Chandia -- was caught by TV cameras whispering to the Catolica keeper. (Yes, that is Walker's team.) Chandia admitted he said, "He is going to go to your left. Dive to your left, now."

    It's still inappropriate.
