I'd bet the farm -- or at least a good half acre -- that Gus St. Silva's career as an MLS center referee is over....
They are probably saving him for a Game 3 situation and if we are really lucky they will assign Chip Reed to assist.
Don't knock Chip. He was the guy who kept the flag down in the first half of MLS Cup'98. For that, I will always be grateful.
Chip Reed is by far one of the best ARs in this country. On top of that, he's well-liked and respected by the players (which, as we know, is not always the case for all MLS officials).
Knocking Chip I suppose I have not forgiven him for the very poor showing he had at our home opener this year.

I was under the impression that Noel Kenny had always been well liked and respected by the players, and look where Noel has been since early July.
