Doing himself no harm but he struggles physically in the championship which is a huge downfall in his game.....the amount of times he loses possession. SVDB is easily impressing the most from all our loanees, he has a real chance of making it.
Morton and Carvahlo are in action for Hull City today. The Tigers need a win to stay in the hunt for the playoff places. Nil - nil at HT after Hull missed a penalty. It would be fantastic to see Hull get into the playoffs. That experience would be helpful for Morton's and Carvahlo's development.
A season-end review of our 19 loan players. https://www.liverpoolworld.uk/sport...e-fared-away-from-anfield-this-season-4629842 Slot may take a look at Carvalho. Owen Beck should become our #2 LB if Tsimi leaves (which I'd advocate for). Maybe Tyler Morton gets some good preseason time but will likely be loaned again or sold. Jaros has a shot at being the young backup to Alison (can't imagine Kelleher staying).
We have a title winner in our midst!!! Vítězslav Jaroš has led Sturm Graz to the Austrian Bundesliga title, denying Salzburg their 11th straight title. Sturm also won the league cup, a match Jaros also started. If Kelleher goes this summer, he's getting the first shot at the backup job.
Actually saw the highlights of the championship games this weekend, which I don’t normally watch, and he had 2 other efforts which hit the post, both very good chances too. On another day he could’ve had a hattrick.
This is a step too far for Salzburg and their young side. Only 3 players over the age of 21 in this Salzburg XI which is quite crazy. A lot of the ball but in nothing areas, no penetration. Prague just picked them off with intensity, Blaswich the Salzburg keeper absolutely awful for both goals.
I think Pep is out his depth too tbh, he might have good ideas and likes to be hands on with the players dictating training sessions, but communicating a team to implement that style requires more of a skillset.
What kind of officiating is this? Owen Beck on loan with Blackburn has gotten a Red card after he was bitten in the back of the neck, yes you heard it right. And the player who bit him got a yellow. I mean it's one thing to bite to guy in back of the neck but why does he feel the need to grip the guys armpits?
Preston striker Milutin Osmajic has been charged by the FA with biting an opponent during last Sunday’s goalless draw with Blackburn in the Sky Bet Championship.
Stefan Bajčetić won the most tackles (5/5) in Salzburg’s game against Austria Wien today. He also had the best pass accuracy (96%) in the game completing 44/46 passes.
