Maybe Perez has a fetish for perpetually injured players, no? :D

Not sold on this guy at all, the biggest issue he has is to stay fit, don't matter how talented he is if he can't play.

When is he coming back ?

When this guy gets healthy he's gonna help us tremendously.

    IF.

I can't believe he's been injured since he arrived and it's Jan, with the exception of a couple games here and there.

If we get an offer in the summer, i'd probably look at it and call it quits

CONFIRMED: Real Madrid have full belief in Trent Alexander-Arnold. He is a LONG TERM project for the team. @FabrizioRomano

CONFIRMED: Real Madrid are NOT thinking about any exit for Trent Alexander-Arnold. There is NOTHING going on. @FabrizioRomano

I really hope we have him pack it in for the rest of the season and just focus on getting back next year healthy instead of rushed.

Indeed there is ‘nothing’ going on.

Had high hopes he would transform our build up from our own half. At some point you have to criticise a player for not being available enough.

Yeah, I agree. Do we even know when he's about to return?

Yeah but for all we know he could return in a month or two and be the catalyst for winning something

I'd give it more time and not rush to make him another Woodgate or Hazard

More time on a player we spent all those millions to get in extra early feels like a slap in the face.

Feels like a guy that didn't even really wants to be there.

We act like he wanted to be injured and be out for a long time. With Hazard, it was more about fitness, work ethic, and showing up 'fat' after his signing. I haven't seen / heard about similar issues with Trent at all. If anything, he has always been fit and ready to contribute when available.

It's another thing to be upset because of his unavailability. I'm annoyed by that as well since he was looking great before his last injury.

He’s out with quadricep injury right now, for 2 months since December so is expected back in February.

He was out with a hamstring injury previously.

Back to back injuries like this aren’t common with him, he’s had muscle injuries more frequently in the past 2 years but nothing like this. It’s reminding me of Ceballos and Arda who both spent half a season with random back to back muscle injuries in the past years.

Some people are irrational. We have heard nothing negative about his work ethic but because he isn't producing immediate, just castigate him anyways.

In the end he will be back and hopefully we will use him well

It was a dumb move. Might even be dumber than buying Hazard.

At the end of the day, the player needs to be on the pitch. So far, his initial impressions don't look so good considering how bad this club's luck with defender's injuries.

He had the same kind of injury every year, for the past 3 years or so, what's happening to him this season is what we could expect. The medical records were there for everybody to see but we completely ignored them.

The fault is on the club, not the player.
