Red October Ad Campaign

Discussion in 'Chicago Fire' started by UltraCinek, Sep 19, 2003.

  1. It is getting much better. Not only we have billboards and TV ads but I noticed that there are radio commercials about Red October on some local stations!

Actually, I heard two of them in the span of only a few minutes. One on the New Rock "The Zone" and the other on B 96. In the first one some guy was bragging how he likes to watch Chicago Fire--Beasley, Razov and Ralph, but the second one had a girl talking about how handsome Bocanegra and Ralph are! The latter was so hillarious! Good job Fire!

Are you going to now explain why you were listening to B96? Or are you just going to leave us with the image of you with your pink cowboy shirt rocking out to Britney Spears in your Bimmer?

They should emphasize in bigger letters "return to soldier field".

The ads in the papers don't have Soldier field in big letters.

Maybe they should have an alien in a Fire kit in the ads. I mean SF does look like a UFO landed in it!

I was up there at the end of August and it is horrible looking from the sides with the columns!

    No.

  8. I knew this question was coming sooner or later. So it came sooner.... Of course I have my explanation.

I kinda wanted to follow Mike Segroves's example and worship blonde beauties at any opportunity. That made me switch to B96.

    Or....

My brother said that he had enough of that rock crap and started switching stations on me from the Zone or Q101 or Will Rock or that secret 102.3 (check it out!) straight to B96!

    Pick whichever one you like.

I am going to Oklahoma this weekend in search of this now legendary pink cowboy shirt. Will see if I can find it easy.

The logo they did up for the return is really damn nice.

Now, this is a small request. But would have been nice to see them to say something like "for all Fire fans to wear read to the games." We basically do it in Section 8, but a full stadium of red (like KC Chiefs football, UWis events, Korea in the WC, etc) would look really nice.

Fire ads in all the SF special sections in the papers today, and prominently placed.

    Also featuring one Ralph Damani.
