Speaking of getting a Red membership. Today I get home and there is amembership renewal package from Arsenal. On it reads that I have to renew by June 8th to keep my status. Today is June 8th. So I go to the site to renew and it is down for maintenance. Typcial Arsenal membership.
I went online this morning and the site was back up. Just don't forget to pay for the international shipping, which was only 3 quid this year. Much better than before.
Since it never arrived, I gave up on it to be honest although I did get the the one from a couple of seasons ago on ebay later on.
Verified by Visa is just another security hoop that some merchants are making you jump through. If you don't a password, you need a new one which you can get by clicking the forgot password link.
Necessity being the mother of invention, that's what I did. Now I just have to call and get a replacement membership card.
Arsenal's website seemed pretty clear on that issue. You quoted the relevant question yourself and i think the answer is pretty obvious. "Can a member purchase more than one ticket per game with their card? No" What part of that did you not understand?
Thought maybe I was readying it incorrectly somehow, I tend to do that. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't shelling out another 30£ for nothing. There's still one thing I'm unclear about and that's how to purchase seats side by side? I know this all may sound incredibly stupid, but I really have no clue how all this stuff works.
I don't really know how it works either, but i think you can buy seats that are together. You might want to skim through or search some of the other threads in the Ticket and Travel subforum.

Yep. It was a cluster-eff a few years ago but it has been right on time recently. Also, one of these days I'm going to need a replacement card because the one I gave to Rick a couple of years ago has vanished. Oh well.
The site is down again now as I just tried to log-in to renew for my Red membership. I haven't received a renewal notice yet either. Does anyone know if I can still renew for Red now that the June 8 date has passed?
Yep, you can still renew Red; I did it this morning. Now whether you lose your "status" I don't know, but I just went to the membership area and logged in and re-upped under the same membership number. I got the CD in the mail but it doesn't serve much purpose. Nice little "e-zine" and explanation of benefits, but its not crucial.
Take it easy on the lad, will ya? Seriously, though, according to a poster on the Arsenal email list, it appears that may be changing this coming season. He received his renewal notice via an email from the club. From his email: "One new thing that is mentioned in the email is that : "For certain matches, Arsenal may offer you the opportunity to purchase multiple tickets on your membership card. This will further reduce the likelihood of a general sale next season." I think this will apply to Red members too." So it may be for some matches, members may be able to purchase additional tickets (perhaps just after the period for red members to purchase?). Just passing it along.
Can anyone tell me that for how long the red membership is open for new members? does it hav a deadline by date or by number of members or is it opened whole season round? Thanks in advance!
I think it's year-round, rubin, but you need to renew within a certain window to keep your priority # to move up to silver. I received my renewal notice too late for that.
