Not so fast there. The rule is threads get closed at 500 posts. It's not Ben closing this thread, it is the capacity of the BigSoccer servers and the wishes of the people who run BigSoccer.

I make my assistant coaching debut tonight for the University of Indianapolis. We play Saginaw Valley at 7.

Looks like no last post for me after this one I'm gone all day and I'm sure the last 14 will be made before 10 tonight.

 

I wonder if the Margaritas on SWTrafficway has flooded out yet. That place/area is famous for being like 5 feet underwater (if not higher) any time KC gets massive rain like this.


Also what's the over/under on when the first image of the dumbass sitting on the top of their car waiting to be rescued makes the local news. Naturally they were just trying to cross the flooded road. "I thought I could make it... It didn't look that deep" they always say. Happens every flood, it's always some sort of hatchback or Pontiac Sunbird or something with the entire hood virtually underwater. Actually usually it's a dude who should've known better anyway but we have that aire about our abilities sometimes. If I were the firemen I'd let em sit there for a bit getting rained on and let plenty of press get his picture so that they can show everyone why you don't want to be this idiot.

Days like these are perfect for reassuring why I hate Katie Horner so much as I'm sure she's in full "exclusive" doom & gloom mode right now telling everyone that they should've seeking cover in their newly constructed Ark. But tune into me as I'm the only one who can tell you about sideways rain that isn't really happening and swirling air movement up in Iowa that could wipe out all of southern Johnson County. Exclusively only on 9.

Heard on the radio this morning on the way in that there was a car stuck on 69ht in Brookside (I think) and that there was a rescue underway. Never fails!

 

96.5 the Buzz had their morning crew going out to raft down Turkey Creek, didn't stay in the car long enough to hear what happened, but I'm sure it's just as stupid.

 

I must say, I'm rather disappointed with my performance...
