Newbies and veterans, if you haven't done so,
click on the link in Ben's signature: Greatest FFA thread ever

It explains many of the mysteries of bigsoccer. I suggest a quiet evening when you have some time.

The post by Seagroves about Aimer and their fictitious PM conversation? Yes, that and the Brad Friedel post by Segroves are the two best posts I've ever read on BigSoccer.

Thats the one. I'll need to find the Friedel post. Don't think I've read that one.

And its Segroves with no "a" you don't want to attract his wrath again :)

    Now that you mention it...

I could use $200 in donations for the MS-150. I'm not sure which is a more worthy cause, Juvenile Diabetes or MS, but I'd definatly say riding 150 miles (165.2 miles to be exact) is harder.

The Friedel stuff was lost in the BigSoccer Big Crash of '02.

Nothing like trying to follow the World Cup without BigSoccer.

I think I've seen the Friedel post when Segroves put it as an attachment to a post of his after someone requested it...can't remember where, though, sorry...but I think it's out there somewhere to be found...

It was possibly the most compelling, yet scarring, thing I've ever read.

    1 biiiiiiiilion dollars.

No, really not much. I might get a free membership. But I'll probably get that anyway since I'll probably be the Chiefs moderator as well.

I just saw the renderings of the Sprint Center for the first time (I assume you all have seen them already), just curious what those of you closer to KC think. Looks...interesting.

I actually like it. All I kept hearing was how they had slashed tens of thousands of square feet from the project, and how things were going horribly trying to get the architects to work together.

I like the facade. I don't like the yellow seats, but if I can get thousands of KU fans to come sit in MU's colors, that will make me happy.

Are the yellow seats part of the final, official plan? It seems to me that they might wait to have a potential team's color scheme dictate the seat colors. However, without any definite teams coming in (other than Arena Football), I guess they can't really have seat colors for a team that doesn't exist.

Why I am on this particular corner of BS at 5am??? Who knows, but what the HELL is that Brad Friedel thing about!!??

Some of it is genius. The bit about building a bar around him. WTF! :D

So, someone tell me what it is about, and what this Friedel Manifesto is.

Oh and well played tonight KC
