www.bbc.com/sport/football/44366554 First signing of this off season and a sold one at that, in the sense that he should have a positive impact on our offensive play (especially if given the latitude by Mourinho).

In any regard, his stats from his recent CL campaign with Shaktar are interesting and worth noting. www.bleacherreport.com/articles/2779353-manchester-united-complete-signing-of-fred-from-shaktar-donetsk
Where is Fred expected to fit in United's midfield? www.skysports.com/football/news/15115/11394498/fred-to-manchester-united-where-will-midfielder-fit-in
Fred to United. The reported £52m fee feels like too much, but that’ll be a theme this summer (again). We will just have to get used to it. Lovely passer, clever movements, doesn’t tackle that well but at least tries.— Sam Tighe (@stighefootball) June 5, 2018
I personally like this approach, but only if it is part of a consistent theme in the forum. Otherwise it just seems silly. So from now on, I vote that all "new signings" threads have rhyming titles. Especially if we sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
I've really only watched Fred play when he's been with the Brazilian team; he has never impressed me. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
Watched him with Shakhtar and have always really liked him. Mourinho can ruin anything tho. ******** that guy.
Every player Mourinho has bought has gotten worse since their arrival. Hopefully Fred can change that, but the odds are certainly stacked against him.
Fred can help Pogba. www.espn.com/soccer/club/manchester-united/360/blog/post/3518189/manchester-uniteds-fred-can-help-paul-pogba-bring-balance-and-create-and-destroy
I expect to see Fred in a position that doesn't suit him. He will be played as a winger or center back.
The Bit Of The Forum Which Is Specifically Designated For Discussing Our New Signing Fred And we'll continue to aim higher.
hmmm... i don't know that most of the newly suggested titles are significantly better. to be fair, Fred is a boring name. not much to work with there. let's hope his overall play is more exciting
