Draw in about a year? In any case Belgium in a great group. All the pot 2 teams from the previous edition topped their group.

*Ukraine is expected to be relegated to League B as the Swiss cancelled their home game against Ukraine and in case Ukraine have to stomach a forfeit it will be just enough to give Switzerland the edge over Ukraine (level on points but the 3-0 forfeit lifts the Swiss over the Ukrainians).

2nd home game moved back by two days and last two matches of the June window were also moved back by 1 day each.

Wales got the short end once again, after their play-off berth being the only one from UEFA to be "relegated" to pot 4 during the Final Draw for Qatar2022. Poland could profit as they play Wales 4 days before Wales will try to qualify. Holland play Wales only 3 days after Wales celebrate World Cup qualification (or are drowning their sorrows in case they fail) and also play the return leg in the June window.

The 4 teams in this group have entered a joint bid to host the NL Final Four. I'd rather we didn't up the stakes for this NL edition because the upcoming group stage should mainly serve as a training camp/prep for Qatar2022.

Then again Van Gaal has never hidden the fact he's horny to go up against us. He would have been looking to get a result regardless of how little was at stake. Who knows the derby of the low countries won't be as lame as the most recent ones and remind players they actually have to put in a shift/go through the gears instead of simply showing up/hoping to bag an easy win.
