Werner with a long run and cut back for a shot from the penalty spot, saving block by Hunemeier saves a goal because I don't think the keeper would have had a chance - Werner had each corner to pick out.
Goal Schick - Nkunku nice run played behind the defense to Werner who sets up Schick for a first time shot with lots of open goal to aim for. Nice team goal, 1-0 RBL.
Tyler playing more back in the pivot now. He gets hit in the face cleaning up for a terrible pass by a teammate. Great clean up work from him.
Adams back in defense there as PB run a break (off another terrible turnover). Adams did well, but think he got bailed out as a PB player chose the pass (uselessly) Esther than take a shot from 20 yards when Adams didn’t step up and close him down. Maybe the book on that player is “good dribble, bad shot”. Dunno.
Well, damn. Second yellow for kicking the ball away after a foul. RBL down to 10. Tyler will have to work double hard now.
Pretty lame from Upamecano. Unprofessional reaction through the whole play. Probable position shifts coming at halftime as a result, but Adams verstaility and ability to cover tons of space may make him the choice to stay in.
Tyler moved to RB as 22 shifted into the middle. Let’s see what they come out and do in the 2nd half.
Adams seems to have moved to RB since the red card, but that might just be a very temporary adjustment until they regroup at halftime.
I think Tyler will stay- just a question whether at CDM or RB. I wonder if Upamecano though he needed to get rid of the ball to prevent a quick restart? Dunno. Still pretty stupid.
I thought that foul could easily have been a yellow card in its own right, and likely would have been if he didn't have a yellow already. Paderborn guy stole it and was off on a pretty decent break if he wasn't held.
Shtick with a rare goal where his head became his foot and he scored. This guy reminds me of a young Klose minus those unbelievable leaps. At least thus far in the Bundi, he looks like the best player in the air.
Probably the worst red card decision I've ever seen. Maybe that Nani red against Real Madrid was worse.
Bad decision by the ref? If that's what you mean, I gotta agree. This game doesn't mean much to me, so I didn't really think about it, but I simply hate soft reds. FIFA needs to reform that, as it completely ruins a match (not in this case, but it usually does). If you are legit trying to injure someone? Or two very hard yellows? Fine, I get that. But to send a guy off for kicking the ball away 20 feet is just so soft. I know that most will say "those are the rules, you shouldn't do it, you should know the rules!!!". Change the damn rules.
