i posted a pic similar to this in this (or some related thread) that was from the same perspective but was at dusk with a really great sky and stadium lights. that place is gorgeous. and i am really liking your blog. when is the next podcast?
Please post that one here. Well, we try. That's not our podcast, however. We've just been posting the links to the super excellent Seeing Red Podcast, which you can subscribe to on Itunes.
Re: Red Bull Arena Thread: Now Open, It's Real and It's Fabulous. Hey, proof positive that you and O'sack aren't one and the same. Ream was friggin great!
oh wow so it goes from manhattan to jersey, transfer, go back to manhattan, then finally arrive at harrison? Sorry if these questions are getting redundant, but how much is it round trip from NY penn to Newark Penn as opposed to round trip from NYC Subway and PATH?
The PATH does not go back to Manhattan from Hoboken. You just walk about five steps to another train that continues through Pavonia/Newport, Grove Street, Journal Square then change trains for one more stop at Harrison. Google is your friend: http://www.panynj.gov/path/ http://www.njtransit.com/hp/hp_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=HomePageTo
yes yes i know, but dinner was calling, and I wanted someone with experience to just tell me, i'm lazy. thanks a lot for the help guys, I'm probably gonna head to RBA early to take it all in so worst case scenario i'll just be there on time.

On the weekend there is no need to change trains in Hoboken. The same train continues toward Newark after the short wait I mentioned before. It's a combined route of the weekday 33rd-Hoboken and 33rd-Journal Sq. routes. According to the links above, it 40 mins to Harrison from 33rd and 20 mins from WTC. Plan accordingly.
Once again stellar video from the Viper. I guess I need to ask for some face time on a Viper production. Please PM my friend or DM me on Twitter. We can exchange info and I can have you on my podcast show whenever you want to.
Who, me??? I really don't think I would be that good, to tell you the truth. My "stellar" videos are all just druken fun, really.

This thread is as good a place as any to post this: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg1oOwpPWjU"]YouTube- ESC at RBA Opening Day[/ame] Props to Roehl Sybing, Chupacabra, MLSInsiderBlog.com, the Daily Harrison, and several others from whom I stole pics and video!
Great video there Demosthenes, but there is something missing from it.....................................oh yes, now I know what's missing. WHERE'S THE DAMNED ROCKET FROM DANE RICHARDS!!!!!!!!!!!! Your missing the cherry on top of the cake my friend.
Great stadium - but they have to fix this ticket debacle. This is the 2nd game and the email ticket function still does not work on the web site. It is major hassle to have to call them and wait for someone to email your tickets 24 hours later (or even later)...and there is no way to know what the status of the request is or if they even logged it properly. Plus when you call it is only a 30% chance of actually speaking to someone. They should have issued paper tickets if they were not 100% sure the system would work on day 1. I am trying to sell my tickets for this week and have a buyer, but cannot even deliver the tickets to stub hub as RBNY has not sent them to me yet. So i have to waste more time today and tomorrow checking back to my email account to see if they have gotten around to sending the attachment. Bush league
Last evening i got tickets for myself (from Albuquerque) and 5 of my upstate NY clan for the Seattle game on May 15th. I'm flying in and they are driving in the day of the game and staying in Newark. We plan on eating and drinking locally and walking across the bridge and partying all night and leaving out Sunday. This has been a long time coming and is only the first of 2 or 3 this year. I can't wait to finally meet some of you. T
Now all they need is a winning season,... and a new website. Honestly I'm so happy to see DC, Seattle and Phili's nice clean websites and off the MLS template. Even TFC has thier cool video site. Red Bull clearly has the money, it should be simple to do.
Baby steps. In order. First. New 200 million dollar stadium. Check. Second DP signing. New training ground. New website to get the same news we already get at redbullsreader.
dunno if posted, but an interactive guide on ny times http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/03/26/sports/soccer/redbull.html?ref=soccer
