On an ACC recruiting front, rumors spreading all around about who has already verbally committed. It looked like Wake Forest had the earliest jump on some kids as Region III team members (coached by Jay Vidovich) Mark Ellington, David Worthen and Ryan Solle all are heading to Winston-Salem. All three play for Fayetteville Force together. The CASL program looks to have deliberate ties with UNC, especially with former UNC assistant Jay Howell as their Director of Coaching. Rumor has it that seven members of their U-18 team will be going to Chapel Hill next year.....although there is a question about how many of those guys will actually be key contributors in that team. Curious to see how UVA and Clemson are doing, and with Duke and Maryland having new assistant coaches, their recruiting classes could change dramatically. Rorhmann leaving Maryland could show some vulnerability in their recruiting, while Jacobs at Duke gives them someone who has experience recruiting top-flite players.
