Thought I would open up a thread for the matchup.
    1st leg is on Thursday.

EDIT: whoops, forgot to add an (R) to the thread. Chaski or anyone, please use your magic fingers and do so.

Who's Inter PA? I know SC Inter :p

Not sure if Inter will use their starters because their main focus is the last leg of the Brazilian Cup finals.

So yeah LDUQ won 1-0 in Porto Alegre, surprising to me. Do you see Inter coming back in Quito?

Cienciano is not a big Club Compared to alianza, U, Sporting in peru. Liga is a big in Ecuador and always has been. Its like Once Caldas in Colombia. Not a tradition big club compared to other Giants in Colombian Futbol.

i think that the best two teams in ecuador historically have been emelec and barcelona/ then we could add EL NACIONAL,

ido you guys have like the 3 GRANDES like we do in peru(U, SC, AL) or 5 GRANDES (Boca, River, San Lorenzo, Independiente, Racing) in Arg?

Dude as an Ecuadorian, I can tell you first hand, that in this decade LDU has grown and achieved a lot, but they have not been always and forever one of the biggest clubs of Ecuador.

If anything El Nacional always held it down for Quito, when Quito was off the map in terms of futbol before this decade.

It always has been Barcelona, Emelec, and Nacional.

Now in this decade you can say that LDU is one of the top dogs.
