Yes, part of the Florentino tapes were to journalists and press. Also, he granted a press pass to fans that pressured Ancelotti under the name of a blog that was quickly deleted after people found out the club has been using it to get press credentials to fans for "multiple reasons".

The club was found to be paying people to use bots and "optimize the clubs reputation on social media" as well.

It's truly a joke that folks believe we're somehow the good guys. We're just another guy.

No, no, don't change the goal posts now.

Do you have any proof that 78 year-old Perez leaked Güler info to Fabrizio Romano?

    Yes.

Literally everything you read on Romano's account comes from three sources.

    Player.
    Agent.
    Club.

When he's wrong, he's being used as a test balloon to pitch ideas and deals and see how the public reacts to them.

The above is common knowledge. It's not like he's the square-headed Nostradamus. You literally stated his and nearly every transfer reporter's job description as "proof".

Again, where is the proof that Perez or Güler/his agent(s) leaked info to him?

    You can ask your friends.

I have nothing to gain by showing stuff people trust me in private with on a public forum other than impressing somebody who i will never meet in my entire life.

The people that i know from here in private know i'm good for it.

Guess you came close but no cigar.

Imagine being the naive little man that thinks this club isn't constantly thinking about how to spin positive media 24/7.

Ok shrewd big man with cigar, get some proof that Perez or Güler's camp leaked the info as opposed Romano trying to make Carbonara on his twitter account

Again, i have nothing to gain by posting something i've seen in private on a public forum. you don't have your face and name here either. So don't expect others to give you something you're not ready to give.

When less reliable sources speculated Guler will go on loan few times in the past, Romano would rebuff it quickly. He's probably in touch with Guler's agent.

And what he said now is that Arsenal sensed an opportunity to sign Guler like with Odegaard due to Arda not playing as much as he'd have liked.

But that situation obviously changed when club chose not to renew Modric who played 2400+ minutes in La Liga and CL. Xabi has trusted Arda with starting minutes so far.

I think that's pretty obvious. He does those promo posts for other players and coaches as well, wouldn't stop posting positively about Ten Hag either which is absolutely comical in hindsight.

I know certain people began working at clubs and since then Romano has been leaking internals non stop. But hey, if I know it, they probably know it as well, and possibly see value in it?

I just find those reports tonedeaf. This club has always put player first, remember Bale went to ask to play a different role and Florentino took it upon himself to make that happen. Same with the Odegaard start. The club historically has forced player over coach as far as I can remember.

Bro, you just said it was the club leaking info. Now it's obvious it's coming from the dude's agent? Which is it?

We already know who is leaving. Alaba and Rudiger.

Not that hard to work it out

Florentino Perez was caught paying a journalist 300k for anti Ancelotti propaganda articles.

The "journalist" calls him "presi" and "my president" through the entire message exchange.

Would anyone be surprised that the club pays for leaks to manipulate public perception?

Barcelona even did it with Messi and he was their god

Quite obvious we participate heavily in this and oddly use it as a tool to attack our own

Every player wants to boost their fame in order to get better salary or to get into bigger team.

This is why Fabrizio Romano gets paid by agents to post rumors.

Also teams want the same. They buy a post from Romano to boost the visibility of the transfer.

Do you have proof of this, or is it just something you’ve seen in private and have nothing to gain by posting it on a public forum?

    From Real Madrid mailbag:

“I haven’t heard anything about Van de Ven but Konate is a different case. Liverpool’s France centre-back is admired behind the scenes at Madrid. He is one of Europe’s elite defenders and his contract ends next summer.

I don’t believe he was a real option in this summer window, with all due respect to other reporters’ information. Madrid believe Konate would like to play for them, but we don’t know how hard Liverpool are pushing for an extension. Konate could be playing both sides in negotiations until he chooses the option that suits him best.”

I believe the smoke is real, as it's very much in line with the club's recent transfer strategy for defenders, particularly CBs. Alaba, Rudiger, Trent and Konate probably next.

Well since the 75+ year old was "caught", please share the message exchange and reveal the bombshell.

I'm certain you have nothing to gain by making this up.

I've been a Madrid fan since '97 and never have I seen a coach brutally defended and vindicated by the club's pens and fiercely more than Ancelotti starting from our unofficial spokesman JFD –who literally called fans critizing Carlo mid last season dogs–, MARCA, AS, SER, Pedrerol and Co.

Oh it is definitely Bosman boner material for JAS.

But let's be honest, it's not like Alaba worked out as well as the club wanted, eh? If he came to the club for a fee, say €60m, he would've been cursed like Jovic and Hazard are to this day.

I'm surprised the club consider Konaté "elite". He was a very good defender last season but apart from that one season, his career performances are questionable to say the least and his injury record is blasphemous.

Like Cortegana said, he could be playing the RM card to get a better deal from Liverpool which I hope is the case.

With 2 (possibly 3) CBs leaving next summer, we need a CB powerhouse and Konaté isn't it IMO.
