It's a parody account. We all fall for it at times due to Twitter giving blue tick to randoms.

I don't think Mou would be against Rodri signing. He can still defend while being an elite tempo setter. Basically like Xabi under Mou.

I think he'd love Rodri Tcho Fede midfield but will go with Bernardo/Arda, Tcho and Fede midfield if Flo doesn't want Rodri. Club signed Bernardo as Mourinho's request so he will be respectful if they don't want to sign Rodri.

All these reports clearly naming Folrentino as "standing in the way". I don't believe that a successful tycoon like him would let something so small (his stance on the Balon) stand in the way of a good deal. I doubt these reports. Jorge Mendes is back in our facility, something the media told us wouldn't happen while Florentino was still around.

Rodri camp not rubbishing Riquelme's claim unlike Haaland and Klopp might be an issue though. Florentino's first move as RM president was selling fan favourite Redondo because he publicly supported Sanz during election campaign.

I disagree with you on many things, but on this one, we agree.

What's maddening is that they already knew that Lewandowski would age out of Barça the second they signed him. And instead of making it a priority to have a solution sorted out, they've had their thumbs shoved up their ãssholes for years.

Even in this transfer period, they KNEW that they'd need a 9, and that they'd face future FFP difficulties. But instead of "Moneyballing" TF out of this summer, Echevarria and Laporta have spent lavishly on secondary pieces, and chased players seemingly "for vibes," rather than for fit and suitability.

Happily for madrid, sadly for Culers.

Rodri is from Madrid, he likely knows the power structure at the club and the near implausibility of another candidate ousting somebody like Perez at RM, if he wanted to play for RM like reports suggested why back a guaranteed loser in the elections when he can wait?

When asked about Riquelme he said he's focused on the WC, should he or his camp have made a more explicit statement? I'm not sure, but is that really the deal breaker for Perez? Silly stuff from someon who's 80..

Mourinho's back because Florentino can't admit making a mistake and his first stint was an epic failure given the consession the club made (and of course despite the Mou cult attempts to rewrite history as Carlo and Zidane stole the CL's the Special One would have WON).

I also think the fact the with the whole election fiasco and Riquelme pointing out the obvious players and manager the club SHOULD be pursuing, it now means they are scratched off Florentino's shopping list.

If the reports are true, hopefully Perez is pushing back with sporting or commercial reasons

Sadly it wouldnt be surprising, if its primarily for political or emotional reasons. In that case, its time for Perez to step back

The new LaLiga season starts in 4 weeks btw..

I feel like Satan's scribe JFD will soon tell us the club's squad is closed unless a "market opportunity arises", X, Y, Z are refusing to leave and nobody other players "convince the club"..

For a star like Rodri or Olise to arrive, there MUST be a major departure.

Still mentioning Olise all the time takes away all credibility from those.

    1. Endrick is the new signing.
    2. We trust our team, we have a coach that will get the most out of them.
    3. There was no opportunities in the market.

Yea. Market for RM probably closed. Don't even buy Asencio loan rumours as they'd need to look for a replacement.

If the market is closed, then it was a pretty good transfer window. All the needs have been addressed.
    Thank you Flo!

We still don't have a true center forward. Two tweeners in Jude and Endrick and probably never gonna be "that guy" in Gonzalo.

So we just go with a left winger who doesn't want to do the job and sabotages the whole team instead.

Well to me it seems like a repeat of last season’s business basically.

    Huijsen —> Konate
    Trent —> Dumfries
    Mastantuono —> Bernardo
    Carreras —> Cucurella
    Xabi —> Mourinho

Still think we desperately need a ball playing CM. Better depth for sure but we arguably haven’t addressed our needs. Let’s see.

Barca to buy Laporte for 15M€?Why dont we hijack him if we are in need for one more defender. For that kind of money we get a experience player who can compete next 2-3 years at high level.Better him than throw on Bastoni 70-80M€..better invest that money in Olise or Rodri

This. I’m ice cold on the Konate add, luke warm on the Bernardo add, and warm on the fullbacks. No mid addition would be crazy to me.

I don’t think Endrick is ready, Franco should be loaned, would be glad if Gonzalo stayed and would’ve sold Brahim for an actual wing player.

we still have tons of question marks, but can’t get too crazy about it until the window actually closes.

So we’ve gone weeks hearing we won’t go for Rodri.

and now the same sources are saying we’ve made a total U turn and will go for him now.

That’s why when everyone is throwing knives at Florentino, I think it’s best to stay silent and just let the summer play out. Wait until September when the window is closed to accurately judge

He missed 80+ games the last two seasons after missing nearly zero the five years before that, and he's still under contract with an obscenely wealthy club who isn't looking to sell -- it's far from a "no-brainer".
