It’s not 1982 anymore, professional athletes bounce back from torn ACL’s all the time like it’s nothing.

Watch us have another disasterpiece of a season with a front 4 of selfish players while Rodri has a great season elsewhere.

Sure it's risky, but so is signing nobodies like Franco Mastantuono or that Renner guy from Brazil.

the fact that this club and Perez hasnd spend a single euro on a midfielder since Kroos and Modric left, shows you they have lost the plot completely

next season will be the same....what Tcho/Fede showed so far without Kroos and what they showed at the world cup....this is what we will get TROPHYLESS SEASON and horrible football

how are these players untouchable ???why are they not getting sold .....the profile that the team is missing is so obvious....Bernardo ????

Tcho 100 million on the table and Rodri available, legendary f up by Perez ......Mateus Feranndes,Tonalli,Wharton,Bouaddi etc all on the market .....but WE HAVE THE BEST MIDFIELDERS IN THE WORLD THEY STOLE THE LEAGUE FROM THEM

Rodri probably only knew about Riquelme's deal with him from TV.

    Ah, Perez is not "convinced".

I mean if Rodri doesn't "convince" him then haha..

Flo is putting personal pettiness ahead of club interests..

At the start of the World Cup I had major reservations about Rodri, he looked quite out of sync last season in the couple of City games I saw, and in the group stage (against Cape Verde I think), he looked a step slow behind the pace of the game.

But his performances in the knockout rounds were great tbh. I wouldn’t expect a full healthy season from him again, but he could be a great addition for us if we manage his game time.

A midfield of Tchouameni as the 6, Rodri as the 8 and Bellingham as the 10 would be nicely balanced.

This Rodri fellow really likes to celebrate in the face of his opponents, it seems.

He just won the elections, another trophyless season won't matter to him nor will it threaten his position..I hope this is just drivel from Romano

Pepe Alvarez on Sunday sounded like Florentino is the one standing in the way of Rodri deal.

Such a shame... I like him as a personality as well and I believe he can become what Casemiro became for United.

Zero chance Perez signed Rodri. Age or ACL is not the issue here, You’re forgetting it’s the same president that released makelele for Beckham.

zero chance of olise coming unless Vinicius is leaving and that won’t happen because Perez has him by the balls now.

It will be a historic fumble if this transfer doesn't happen this summer.

Perez is now obsessed with Olise. It is Mbappe 2.

I heard Mou rates the French Rodri - Tchouaméni very high. They don't need another CM.

Will be interesting what will Mou do with Arda.I like Arda technique and shot but lacks a bit speed and agility to be a better player.Endrick will be probably loaned out.I dont think he will impress Mou and get significant minutes.Gonzalo Garcia has a nose for goal.He used his minutes good.I think if he accepts to be a rotation player Mou will leave him within squad.Nothing new abot Asencio? Is he staying?leaving?

It's sad that Florentino is the kind of person where everybody around him can be advising him "dude, this is a slam dunk, do it" and he just can't possibly be arsed. His decision, however (ir)rational it is, is final and nobody can convince him otherwise.

People being convinced Riquelme was just a random guy talking random shit will never not be funny to me. This is the Real Madrid presidency we are talking about here. You dont become a candidate if youre a nobody knowing nothing about anything. Get a grip ffs.

It’s July 20. Don’t believe everything you read.

Everybody shitting on Florentino, but hasn’t he given the manager everybody he has asked for? If Mourinho wants Rodri, Florentino will go get him Rodri. Perhaps he doesn’t want the player? Wait and see.

My guess is Rodri still becomes a Real Madrid player sometime over the remaining 6 weeks of the transfer window.

You literally become a candidate having a certain amount of money, be a club socio for a specific duration, and get a specific number of socios to back you. Thats literally the requirement lol.
