All depends on Bayern's stance now. Going by what Santi, JFD, L'Equipe have said, Florentino is willing to break world record transfer fee for Olise which he hasn't done since Bale in 2013.

JFD and Santi talking about 225 ME range surpassing what PSG paid for Neymar.

You don't honestly believe this Olise thing will happen, and if it does, on terms that make any kind of sense?

We don't know whether club and Vini will reach an agreement on renewal either. Are they planning to have a trio of Mbappe, Vini, Olise or seeing Olise as big money replacement for Vini either this summer or next?

Given how France' atomic attack was nullified against Spain, I am not so keen now to go all in for Olise.

Great player no doubt but way too much money and we got bigger holes to fill in the roster.

Well we can all have an opinion on the subject, I really don’t want Olise here, unless it means vini leaves. It that were the case well I wouldn’t be delighted but I would understand. yet nobody is talking about the serious posibility that if Madrid throw 230mil at Bayern and Olise wants out, he will be a RM player before September 1st.

I mean at 15mil a year and an inicial what?60mil transfer fee, it’s almost cheaper to just terminate contract and sign him as a free agent. No way the whole operation cost Bayern upward of 200milloon even if he had finished his contract.

the only way it makes any sense at all is if a decent chunk of the fee winds up being covered by a Vini exit this summer. Club might be able to justify spending 100m+ net to swap Vini for Olise just given the former’s expiring contract and baggage and probably better fit with their true prized possession.

Due to Enzo performances and his desire publicly to join us… should we sign him?

I don't see how that works with what we've also just seen from Jude. But I'm not Florentino. I've always said/thought, Olise coming means Vini is out.

Whether we go for Olise or not, we shouldn't forget that the club has already sold several players for more than 100ME. Now sure, that's not cash in hand and, particularly the Nico one, is smeared over several years, but that's a significant amount for a bunch of players that weren't even (and most will never be) part of the Real Madrid first team.

Rodri seems like a non-brainer for the midfield.
Add a top-class CB and it would be a perfect transfer summer.
Olise only if we can't come to an agreement with Vinicius.

We should sell Vini and buy Olise. For me it would be a dream transfer window if this happens.

Wonder if the Olise stuff is just aimed at getting additional leverage in the Vini contract negotiations.

I love this board off this. The standard for Madrid is so high, apparently, that someone who has delivered x2 years in a row at a high level and was arguably best playmaker in Europe last year with Bruno and has been stunning in this world cup bar one game, just doesn't cut it.

Thank God some posters here aren't in management for this great club. Olise has Galatico written all over him quality wise.

I am not arguing his quality. My point is that you splash 220 million for him and you can have Barcelona dominate you the same way Spain dominated France in the semi-final. Our main issues are else and at this point with the signings of Bernardo and the new defenders we are not sure that they are solved. We might be already good enough even without Olise with Jude, Vini and Mbappe.
If Vini doesn't renew and we can get 150ME for him, it makes sense definitely.
But in the current situation how does he fit? He might not be the answer we seem to need.

And you seem to miss the point of my comment. I was 100% for buying him no matter what as long as Bayern agree to such figure. Now, I am not sure.

“Terms that make sense”? In 2026? Lol

    They never do man….forget that.

it’s either you want the player or not.

Terms will never make sense these days….especially not for one of the top attacking players in the world.

He's not worth this much (no player is) but we all know Floro. If he wants to go all in, no one will stop him.

A 4-3-3 with Vini, Mbappe, and Olise could work. Problem is Jude. Arda will also be relegated to 3rd option.

Truly dumb move, unless Vini is leaving.
