The Olise move is making more sense to me because of the Vini saga.

It's why many people have said Vini holds all the cards. The club, at best, will have to pay more for a new player than it can get for Vini and the new player won't be as good.

Plus as long as Mbappe is the #9 no amount of new player will help the team win silverware and Vini is probably aware of this as well which makes it easy to take his chances of going to a new team and winning both team and individual trophies VS staying and getting nothing.

Let it be Enzo/Rodri or Olise..whoever is available..getting Enzo or Rodri puts Arda on bench for sure

Floro is not going to buy multiple players at this stage of the summer. You may get someone tied to the WC that could not move while the tournament was happening. Or someone who played extremely well and caught Floro's eye.

This is why I think it is Rodri or no one. Olise will be another Mbappe saga that will take multiple summers. Enzo rumors were put to bed by Real Madrid. And those rumors even make less sense now that we have seen Rodri perform well.

Rodri has one year left on his contract and wants to return to Spain.
Pep has left and City are busy spending big money on players like Anderson while also linked to other midfielders. It sounds like City is ready for the Post Pep/Rodri era.

Should be the easiest RM team to score against since 2005-06 one. :D Thankfully Mou won't make midfield that weak defensively.

Enzo was brutally rejected with that official statement which basically told his agent Pastore to stop flirting with RM and we have no plans to go for a player whom Chelsea paid 120 ME for.

Rodri has indeed looked incredible in six of seven games however can he be relied upon during a long 50 game campaign with NT dates in-between?

I'm hotter on getting the player now than I was before the tournament but I think it's still fair to be trepedatious.

Uncharacteristically shortsighted and overall bad look from Madrid which couldn't keep it's hands to itself regarding Olise just to be as easily dismissed by Bayern.

SAD but cleraly Florentino's lost it and needs to be replaces ASAP, too bad too many people were still drunk on the decade old koolaid when the elections rolled around because the time for change was already long overdue by that point.

He will have to be used as DLP like Kroos with Tcho and Fede next to him. Brutal for his knees if he's asked to cover all that ground at RM as the DM for 50+ games a season.

It has been 22 months since the injury happened. My understanding is that once you are around the 24 month mark, your risk of injury is basically the same as someone without that injury history.

It isn't like they don't have options to rotate, they have not sold anyone. The most important issue for the club is winning games and trophies. And Rodri is basically your best bet to accomplish that in the next 2 years.

Still a great tempo setting midfielder. Could give him the best chance to be available by having midfielders than can cover the ground alongside.

My opinion. Rodri playing 25 to 30 games for us in a season is better than no midfielder of his profile on the team. Of course, I DO have my concern about his injury record. It is a gamble I am willing to take.

My understanding is that the other injuries are not directed connected to the original hamstring injury and ligament tear. I am not sure if that is the case. Those subsequent problems could be a product of him simply compensating for the original injuries.

Don't want that thug anywhere near Madrid; he epitomizes the typical low-life behavior that is a trademark with the likes of Garnacho, Icardi, Otamendi, Paredes, Arturo Vidal, and Luis Suarez.

    We can do much better.

He isn't worth the price his current club has put him on.

Sucks for him signing such a long term contract.

Fully agree with this guy here! Cancel Enzo's contract with Chelsea immediately! Send him to Madrid as a punishment! That will teach him.
