No way Junior approves of this move. Perez made it blatantly clear that satisfying the 3-time Michelob ULTRA Cup winner and getting him to renew is of critical importance..he fired a coach when Junior threatened to leave, he'll sure as hell pretend a 30-year old doesn't exist and our current midfield just needs to gel with the right coach..

Florentino hired Mourinho. I think Vini will get over Rodri.

Rodri would bring a level of class that our midfield desperately needs

There's a starting spot open still unless Olise is signed. Club football is not 7-8 games like World Cup. If Rodri is to play 50+ games at 30 post ACL, having two midfielders around him who can defend and cover the ground like Fede and Tcho will be good for him.

Where as having him as the sole DM covering the ground with all the offensive players up front at RM in grueling club schedule is throwing a prayer.

Rodri probably could extend his career if he leaves PL right now. Maybe why he was flirting with RM move so much after struggling to stay healthy for two seasons. They play nonstop without winter break.

He would solve a lot of problems imo, definitely on the short term. It makes too much sense.

I don't think there's no interest in Rodri, the player himself said he isn't thinking about his future at all right now and that will all be taken care of after the world cup.

I just think the situation is on ice for now.

Surprised the media isn't creating headlines about Rodri and "in Valdebebas they say Perez is in LOVE with him".

Riquelme would have brought Rodri and Haaland. Such a what if.

Riquelme wouldn't have done shit. He claimed Raul and Casillas would work with him and neither backed him up in public. What a joker.

Same as the Sergio Ramos case with Sevilla. He's pretending we all forgot.

Rodri is still great, and precisely what we need. No brainer for me.

But, I would not be surprised if we're done for the summer. Nobody wants to leave anyway.

The pre-WC reports shifted between Bernardo and Rodri, Bernardo was rejected twice, once in Jan or Feb and again in the summer. Mourinho again insisted on him and he was signed hours later, I'm guessing because Perez gave a solid 'no' on Rodri.

I do think we need to sell a starting midfielder before we go for Rodri at the same time I don't think the club will end up getting both Rodri and Bernardo..it's too late now imo

Rodri's is a top player, he showed this at every game in the WC (aside from vs Cape Verde). The only concern is would be the ACL..

Riquelme would have got Haaland just like Calderon signed Kaka and Cesc in 2006. Total fools to believe that. :D

If Spain wins the final with a decent performance from Rodri, I would not put it past Floro to make a bid for him.

Rodri still has not extended his contact, Pep is gone, and City keep buying midfielders. Floro's posture on Rodri before the WC does not really apply post-WC. He has a history of buying WC stars on a whim after the tournament ends.

Rodri himself said he hasn't thought about his future at all yet, and there's a world where the club is being mindful and respectful of that much to the displeasure of people's raging transfer boners.

I think club concluded Cucurella deal quickly before WC started because they wanted at least one RM player in Spain squad/starting XI.

They'd have signed him as it was Mou's request but significant fee was agreed fast before the WC started.

If Spain wins the World Cup, getting Rodri would be a blockbuster move for Florentino.

The way that City is gobbling up midfielders in the transfer market makes me think he may be gone Post-WC.

So they are all in on Fede, Tcho, Jude, Mbappe, Vini, Olise as starters. Provided Vini renews and Bayern sell for 200 ME+ this summer.

I don't care what the the media is saying. Bayern is not selling Olise this year.

Cucurella was talking to multiple clubs already and Chelsea has to sell multiple players because they won't be in Europe this year. Cheslea can't wait until August to start selling players.

If it's world record like Santi says, 225 ME range.
