Courtois is the best GK in RM history, in my opinion, when it comes to on field performance.

This isn’t unsurprising. Moving on from Vinny, Fede, Jude, Mbappe, Tchoumeni, Arda, Cama, Franco, Endrick is validation Flo (the board) made a mistake. The hubris won’t allow that.

We got a couple of signings in areas that needed reinforcements.

Jose will have to make it work no matter what or he gets the boot and we hire another stooge to “make it work”.

 

reinforce the defense followed by squad depth, that is the number one issue for this team IMO

 

There are people who have been sued for breach of copyright for posting photos of themselves which were taken by someone else. Can’t remember the celebrity who was sued, but there are definitely big cases out there.

Edit- it was Jennifer Lopez who was sued for posting picture of herself that a paparazzi took.

In those circumstances, paying a photographer to take photos you can use for your social media profiles is not as egotistical as it may sound.

 

I really don't see the connection between Bellingham doing great at the WC in an advanced role (I won't call him a forward because it makes some people's tits itch) and our need for a deep-lying midfielder, a world-class 8. Kroos and Modric weren't replaced but hey Bellingham is banging goals..

I said this and I'll say it again, none of our current midfielder core (Bellingham, Valverde and Tchouameni) are good with the ball at the their feet, they vary in quality without the ball. Mourinho cannot change that.

 

I don't like Fede and Tcho double pivot either as it will lack creativity. Hope Mou convinces Fede to play on the right where he was amazing against Man City.

Bernardo alongside Tcho in double pivot and hopefully Arda learns to deal with ball pressure from him. He took a positive step last season though still has things to improve on.

Arda has the technical talent, but needs better awareness and quicker decision making on the ball to avoid getting pick pocketed in central midfield.

Just because people categorise Bellingham as a midfielder, doesn’t negate the fact that the squad is lacking a Kroos type 8. I don’t think anyone disputes (and a back up 6 IMO). Both can coexist in the same line up in midfield, a 6, 8 and a 10, I know, novel concept.

 

Crazy that the one player that actually plays for the first team earned basically the least. Barcelona made more from Sergino Dest.

 

I agree.Fran was sold a bit cheap like Nico Paz.If Paz was a english player he would cost 100M€.He had a big impact for Como and was the main reason they qualified in champions league.He was also in team of the season.I hope he proves again in Como and that we buy him next season back.Otherwise it was a bad sale.

 

fair enough. Next season every time I think there is lack of effort Ill say so. I still think this team if they put in more effort they would be highly more successful in the league.
