The issue is that the club will feel that Tchou hasn't quite reached the heights they expected to, which is partly true. Given his age, recent resurgence and the fact that he starts for France, he still holds a high transfer fee value, and I think the club is looking to make a big sale in the team, and he simply fits the bill. I know this will annoy a lot of people on here, but the continuous altercations with Fede will be a key factor in this as well.

With reputable journalists saying that Man Utd are very interested in signing him, it looks like the track is being laid out for this exit. We've also recently completed player sales to United with relative ease (albeit they were sold later in their careers).

Objectively speaking, he was out best midfielder last season after a strong comeback to form, but it just feels like the club won't offer him a new contract next season and see a "golden ticket" to sell him right now.

The conundrum that exists with the three I've highlighted in bold is what concerns me and what Mou will need to find a solution for. In their respective international teams, the rest of the team is positioned and fitted around those three.

Its even worse when you look at it closer. Move to a lesser club that isnt competing for the league which may or may not qualify for the UCL every season. On a lower salary, in a worse place to live in.

    No Bueno.

It depends on if Tchou himself, might want to leave the club.

Tchouameni is going into a contract year. It's a normal process for the club to entertain offers if he doesn't want to extend, no?

It depends on whether he's: A) been offered a new contract formally and B) what they have offered him, if at all

He's not going to bargain for less is he? If the club doesn't feel like he worth the raise as small or large it might be, they'll listen to offers.

They are doing exactly what they want the club to do with Vinicius.

Tcho has a contract until 2028. So they will either renew him this summer or look to sell him for a high fee to Man Utd. I hope he ends up renewing. No top class DM out there other than Rodri who has missed a ton of games due to injuries in last two seasons.

I was fine with signing either Bernardo or Rodri to add fluidity to midfield, but not both together given their age. Unless Bernardo comes off the bench and Rodri starts. Worst case scenario would be selling Tcho and not signing a good DM.

There is no way Flo is ging to offer Tchou less money. The worse he'll get is the same wages. Which is already pretty good.

If you get the same wages it's an insult. I would understand the agent just getting up and leaving the meeting.

I don't know how reliable JFD is these days, the folks over at Managing Madrid, particularly Kiyan, fornicates over JFD's takes...

But this latest report does point towards some legitimacy in terms of where Tchou could be heading to next season.

We brought him back from Rayo for 5 mil.
This mf Betis are looking for hands out. We should have sold in the winter to to Bournemouth for 25 mil.

    Ramon Alvarez:

I know for a fact that Manchester United likes Tchouameni, but my information is that he will stay at Real Madrid next season.

Real Madrid's midfield for next season includes Valverde, Tchouameni, Guler, Bernardo Silva, and Bellingham. The only player who might leave if the right offer comes in is Camavinga. And, obviously, that would only happen if he changes his current stance of staying at Real Madrid and fights for his place in the starting lineup.

The decision regarding Thiago Pitarch and other youth players has not yet been made.

My preference would be for Pitarch to go to Como. Cesc has done a wonderful job bringing up the talent there, especially with Paz.

Thanks for the heads up. I can cancel my Premier Sports subscription now saving me a year worth of fees.

Not a good choice, old boy gets the boot early and Gonzalo is once again stranded in space. Send him to a place with some kind of routine.

Very happy to see Fran go. Between Cucurella and Carreras, he was never going to see the field again.

Getting a 50% sell on clause to boot is cherry on top.

Interesting, this makes a little bit more sense why the club didn't move him last winter.

This isn't breaking or any news whatsoever.

This is media and Twitter ITKs making up a story to generate revenue and people posting and clicking away rewarding their lies
