Which is why everyone were dumbstruck by his move in the Spain camp. Curcurella has been wanting leave for ages for the reason @AppleBob86 mentioned. Chelsea fans have known it for ages. It has been on the news alot. Maybe Xabi tried to convince him and Cucurella having not found a club in Spain yet was a willing listener.

The Atleti rumours started recently. Before then he was sure to join Barca. Bet if they had the funds he'd be a Barca player ages ago.

Damn, Arbeloa REALLY did not like his LB situation. I wonder what he said to Mourinho/Perez that convinced them to prioritize signing Cucurella?

You make it sound like we're not aggressively going after other players in the meantime.

It wasn't about the players or how they play unfortunately.

How embarrasing, guy like a total turncoat.

I don't care about Xabi, Chelsea or Barca; but how can this be a good sign for Madrid.

Enzo has the experience at top level for club and country which is a natural fit with Mou. Only 25 so could be a starter for several years. Transfer fee will be 130-140 ME range though.

I really dislike Enzo (for reasons i won't repeat here but everyone knows). He's a good player though but is he good enough at doing the work we need in our midfield? His showing with his NT give me hope but for 120M plus.............. can't we find anyone else? Lol.

I am also a bit tired of signing prospects, but the ideal fit is that young Moroccon kid who plays for Lille or Rodri from Man City on a short term contract. Anyway, i would be really pissed if we sign this shit bag Enzo and then sell Tchouameni to keep Valverde.

Imo zero chance Mou agrees to sell a DM with a CM like Enzo as the replacement. If we sell Tcho for any reason, there's a DM coming for sure. No chance Mou trusts Camavinga as starting DM either.

Enzo in a deep role with Argentine has been sublime. Same with Chelsea when he plays alongside Cacido. It's when they've moved him up as a 10 that I didn't like.

Also bye Ceballos, see you never. Finally rid of that rat.

Tchouameni is not a DM though.

Interesting that you say this, from the folks i've spoken to, they say his best play last season was when he was played further up the field with no defending responsibilities. More of a 10.

I really hope they don't even think of selling Tchouameni. I think Tchou is just eneting the best years of his career and it would be foolish to get rid of him for replacements like Enzo or to appease our glorious captain Federico.

He's never been in any team for ball playing ability. Mou will want one midfielder whose primary responsibility is defensive stability. I hope it won't be Tcho out and Rodri in because I don't know if latter will be available for 50 games per season.

never liked Enzo as a player, unless he turns into the new Alonso,Kroos,Modric...i think this guy is a fn fraud the same as i thought about Burger King and the dictator

if he is signed someone big needs to leave ......either Tcho or Fede if not .....Arda is becoming an undisputed bench player and he will leave soon

I think Tcho is the closest one to Mbappe in the squad. Camavinga usually hangs out with the Brazilians. Hope Mbappe factor means no plans to sacrifice Tcho to appease Fede. :D

Finally Ceballos gone. Don't let the door hit you on your way out. Read that we want to terminate Mendy's contract too.

If Tcho left it wouldn't be to appease Fede. Its because the club thinks they wont be able to play together again (whatever that feud is about) and losing Fede is a bigger loss than losing Tcho. Ideally you dont want to lose either though. So if there is something there they better use the WC and the break to get a grip.

Ideally club wouldn't want to go to 2027 summer with Tcho only having a year left in his contract. So a renewal agreement needed this summer if they plan to keep him long-term.

I'll say this.......... i don't think Fede and Tchouameni will have any issues playing on the same team and not being the best of friends. From the reporting i read at the time and the way Tchouameni has addressed the issue since then showed me he's the mature one in this.

I mean we bought players in previous seasons as well, but you cant say that the Mbappe chase didnt affect our planning. It did, big time. I dont want the same thing happening with Olise now.

    As I said, little bitch:)
