Atleti made it clear officially that they won't sell to RM with their antics. Club made an official statement that they made 150 M bid. Atleti didn't deny that officially. That's what matters than two dozen journos saying whatever they feel like.

Enzo has looked really good in this deep role with Argentina.

I still wonder, reading into what Florentino said in that interview, if we're not going to try to sell Vini after the WC. I don't think he'll want to leave on a free, and the club will not let him go into the season with just one year.

we should let Vin Jr. leave for some good fee this year , if we choose not to renew at club terms and asking above 20M is not justified. if he has exceptional world club, it would force perez to reconsider renewing him at 30M, but that is not going to happen.

sell him to ? who is paying him 25/30 million a year......Arsenal are not breaking their wage structure for him,United are returning to normalcy under Carrick i doubt they want to return to idiotic spending and chaotic teams

who is spending big on Vinni and paying him

I like Schlottie a lot. Im a bit torn because I want Huijsen to become a regular but between injuries and hiccups I admit he hasnt earned it. I also have a soft spot for Asensio with his heart and physical attributes. He might not be great positionally but hes a warrior. I feel like there is way too much random players being brought right now and its a messy collection. But if were going for a CB then Schlotterback is quality and we shouldnt mess about and lose time inquiring about Gvardiol, Calafiori or Bastoni.

I guess it depends on wether it be schlotterbeck or Nothing. Or Schlotterbeck and someone clearly below his quality to save some money.
    I’m thinking quality/price tag/salary/age it’s about as good a deal as we’re gonna find.

(I have some hope in Konate btw)

I don't think he's all that great tbh. Don't think he's starting lineup material. Which is where the wages step in long term.

What wage structure at Arsenal? He would probably walk in and instantly be the most accomplished and best player in their history. It is him who they have to convince to come to North London.

FWIW, RM French page said this yesterday regarding Olise situation.

Florentino Perez is ready to do anything to sign Olise for Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappé has been courting his teammate; their relationship, both on and off the pitch, is wonderful.

Bayern Munich shut the door even before Real Madrid made an offer because they suspected their player was being influenced and flattered.

A new contract with Bayern Munich, including a pay raise, will be presented to him at the end of the World Cup.

If he remains committed to joining Real Madrid, we will witness a world-record transfer fee exceeding €200 million.

Perez wants his Galáctico this summer or next, and his name is Michael Olise.

I think Olise transfer is impossible this summer. Could happen next summer if he refuses to renew, but for 200 ME or more. And I don't think Olise will renew below the market value like Lewa did back in the day. Bayern will have to offer 20 ME nett per season at least.

We’re “exploring” nearly a handful of centerbacks (Schlotterbeck Dias Bastoni Araujo) like we’re on Love Island :D

Hence why he was boohed at every Dortmund home game after signing it. It's the most mean spirited new contract i've seen. Dortmund basically save lots of money if he stinks at the WC, he gets to make a lot of money if he doesn't. What a weird relationship.

Doubt Atleti were close to paying 55 ME for Cucurella. Ben Jacobs said their offer was below 50 ME which didn't interest Chelsea.

Cucurella wanting out badly was an open secret. Maybe the RM move was surprising but he wanted to move to Spain at all costs.

I read he has a special needs son and decided he wanted him to be taught under his native tongue for his disabilities, hence why he wanted to move to Spain at all costs.
