Ruben Dias is one of the slowest CBs in 2025-26 CL. Schlotterbeck is 20th with 32.9 km/h top speed. Ruben Dias 112th with 31.4 km/h. https://www.fotmob.com/leagues/42/s.../phys_ts/champions-league?position=centerBack
Lol there is a pseudo journalist in Spain called Jose Alvarez who called dumfries Bernardo and curcurella to Barca basically all the day before they signed for RM. Watching the meltdown is helping with the fact it’s cucurella. lol Flo made everyone forget elections in less that 8 days and now everyone is once again calling him DA BAWS. Love to see it.
yeah, agree but I can’t deny I feel between Riquelme and Mou, they moved the needle at RM. I remember most of the board complaining that we would prob negate the defensive side of the team and we have revamped the entire back line in less than a week. Now are they the players we want. No we want and Achraff, Nuno Mendes and Saliba. Well it was never gonna happen, I’m delighted because Clearly Flo is eyeing trophies next year, as opposed to years before. Well that’s my 2 cents.
He's only 19 and already pretty good in Bundesliga. PSG and Pool have been in negotiations to sign him. Pool want him as Salah replacement. He went from Leganes to RB for 20 ME last summer. Represented by Roc Nation with whom RM's contract negotiations regarding Vini have dragged on for two years. Also did it against Hincapie who's a top defensive LB. ⚡️🇨🇮 OFFICIAL: Yan Diomande, FIFA Man of the Match on his debut at World Cup at 19 years old!-Most touches (80)-Most chances created (5)-Most duels won (11)-Most progressive carries (15)-Most passes in attacking 3rd (22) pic.twitter.com/vkMPi343NA— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 15, 2026
Hope we get surprised like with Cucurella. Diomande has the necessary skillset that would make him a fan favourite at RM. We better be going after him. Even if Mou foesnt count on him he could be loaned back for a season. Do it already!
We got Trent from his boyhood PL club so I wouldn't say anything is impossible. He will be unattainable couple of years down the line at a top club like with Olise. Not right now if we make a serious move. He hasn't decided on Pool or Arsenal anyways. PSG are considered the favourites right now while Pool might have to settle for Barcola. I reckon we won't make a move due to Roc Nation factor sadly.
Endrick also represented by Roc Nation and his minutes will get affected by a signing like Diomande. So complicated, I guess.
We were begging Mendy to be available for a couple of games just so that we wouldn't see Carreras. Cucurella is a clear uppgrade on Carreras. Dumfries is experienced and can keep Trent on his toes. And can even start games especially the big games. Definitely good purchases. Konate not so much. Silva is very needed in this midfield which is allergic to the ball. All in all some screwed and necessary purchases. Still some position which need strengthening still but we are on the right track
Or they'd love to represent another player at RM. Could get them more exposure and get more players to sign up.
Konate is only 27 so still in his physical prime. He can get back to 2021-25 form if the team clicks as a whole imo. Also has loads of experience covering Trent's side like Ramos with Marcelo.
Jay Z is heavily involved. Even attended Ivory Coast game for Diomande. Having great relationship with a state club like PSG is beneficial too and they are the kings of Europe right now.
Historically speaking RM is at the top of the food chain. If you are an agency you definitely want many of your players at RM. If you can get a star player who would miss a good chunk of the season to sign for RM, you'll open many doors in that market that is brimming with talent right now.
Not fascinating, just screams desperation from Perez. The second we knew his manager was Mourinho, its because he's feeling the pressure to win now.
We've so far added bodies which was necessary seeing how half of our midfield played defense the last two seasons. But we still haven't added someone who instantly improves the first eleven. We'll see in what shape Silva is, maybe he will, but our midfield of Tchouameni, Valverde, Camavinga still looks dire. Also, we still don't have a dribbler on the right side which is bound to cost us.
Better than nothing which is what most including I where expecting. Also, cucurella, Silva and Dumfries, instantly improves the starting 11.
Yes, Otamendi and Morata did that job in 2017 when they were at City and RM. Now comparing them to Konate, Dumfries, Bernardo and Cucurella doesn't make any sense. Those players were starters for Liverpool, City, Inter and Chelsea last season and 3 of them start for top NT sides.
I'd rather have 4 midfielders starting with Vini and Mbappe for better balance. Else it should be a two way RW.
Otamendi - Benfica captain, Argentina international Rabiot - starter for Milan, France international Morata - experienced decorated veteran from a CL side, with rich international resume You know that if we actually do sign these guys by some (not small, based on our "strategy") chance, you would be saying this exact thing? Because putting a positive spin is doable for anyone.
