I don't understand how he improves upon what we have as starters.. or even gives another extra dimension worth the trouble.

 

IMO even if Arsenal want to sell, how much are they selling for? It won't be less than €75-90m, maybe more.

Gvardiol will be slightly more expensive (€90-100m) if he doesn't renew but there is a significant upgrade in quality.

Schlotterbeck for me is the best 'available' CB. I thought that his RC won't be active till next summer.

I want Nico Paz here but the problem remains the roster construction. We need to sort out a lot of players on the roster; Jude, Vini, Mbappe, Valverde and Arda before we can properly utilize Paz.

Why does this feel like a "we made a bid now we move on" sort of announcements. If we dont bid again then this has winning the election ploy written all over it.
