I knew it wasn't the names floated in the media when Perez said it was unexpected. But not many people are worth so much. I am intrigued

Not worth that sum and not needed honestly. He is exactly the same player he was at City. You could argue he was better then. Just 2 years older. He was sold for 75 ME, we cant honestly think it is sane to offer double that much. Would be terrible business.

Pure DMs dont exist anymore. Tchou is a throwback but does his job well.

 

Can understand why City are going all in for Anderson. Interesting matrix. Looks like their strengths are different. So it'll depend on what the respective clubs need. If we get a creative passer then we could definitely keep ahold of Tcho who is very good defensively.

If we want someone with a mix of everything then some of the other ones on here are better choices. I am for getting a creative passer. Casemiro was a terrible passer and worse under pressure but he was a pure destroyer. Paired with passers he showed his qualities and we were better off.

Honestly given how porous we are we cant let go of players who are defensively good.

 

We don't necessarily have to sell CMs for Bernardo and Mateus to come in. We haven't signed CMs since Kroos and Modric left. Ceballos has no role and maybe Mou doesn't count on Camavinga either.

These Mourinho "requests" are so funny. I've noticed for a few weeks now we see reports "Mourinho asked for..." and it's the most basic logical thing of all time that everybody understands about the team but it's somehow sold as if Mourinho is the master mind behind this revelation.

 

It's also an indictment of the club management that fans are desperate to see them grant these most logical thing of all time to a coach because they wouldn't even sign a CB or RB on loan after 3 ACLs when Carlo asked. Haven't signed a CM despite Kroos and Modric leaving.

 

Or..you can sign "Galacticos" that are also perpetually hungry e.g. Hazard
