Agreed, I don't see the out and out need for it either because we already have Vin and Kylian, unless one of them is leaving, i say it always, even when it was Rodry and everyone thought he was rubbish because he wasn't as prolific as Vin and Benz, there's only ONE ball, Kane and Luis Diaz may be more into sharing, we know how much of the ball Vin and Kylian like to have, did BBC "work" ?, all i know is Benz was nowhere near as prolific as he was after those guys were gone i know because i complained about it then, Benz also worked hard OFF the ball, i'd be sceptical about that front three being as effective as we'd like them to be both on and off the ball Now this is speculation that although unlikely, i'd love to be reality, this is a player who i think would genuinely strengthen our team and in a necessary area.
Gvardiol will cost 90-100 ME. Fernandes 80-90 ME. That's if RM wants to spend. Don't think Olise will be sold even if RM offers 200 M. He has a contract until 2029. 🚨⚪ BREAKING: Florentino Pérez's shortlist for Real Madrid this summer, ASIDE from the superstar signing:- JOAO NEVES 🇵🇹- JOSKO GVARDIOL 🇭🇷- MATEUS FERNANDES 🇵🇹@AlbertoPereiro pic.twitter.com/IBZiTkznEU— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) June 5, 2026 Josko Gvardiol wants to leave #ManCity after Pep Guardiola's exit, however the club will 'not give up without a fight' and 'do not want to show weakness' after the manager's departure.@ManCity are preparing a new and 'more financially generous' contract for Gvardiol to stay,…— City Xtra (@City_Xtra) June 5, 2026
All I see is a lot of clickbait. Many players being mentioned are not for sale. Only Fernandes is guaranteed to move because West Ham got relegated.
Elliot Anderson, Sandro Tonali, and Matheus Fernandes are probably all on the move this summer. We know United will probably grab one of them. Not sure where the other two end up. I imagine if City grab Anderson, than Rodri becomes available. It is bit of a game of musical chairs.
Dude, if I have to google the players you're talking about, they're already players Real Madrid and Florentino Perez will not buy. Adam Wharton and Mateus Fernandez are not players that will ever play for Real Madrid. Dean Huijsen already showed us what level of players come from mid-table EPL teams. Wish Bournemouth would take him back. They got better after he left. The fact that they didn't go to the world cup only works against their chances of landing at Madrid, not for them.
I have a strong dislike for Camavinga and Huijsen. Hopefully Mourinho sells them once this meaningless election is over and he is confirmed.
I find that weird, as neither seems really unlikable to me. Players make mistakes and grow at different rates. Both players can improve, and have the talent to excel if they can put it together. Not sure why anyone would strongly dislike either of these guys.

Olise has to be the player that Perez was talking about. Vitinha and Neves are not attainable for several reasons. Also, Perez has only recently discovered a new found love for Nasser Al-Khelaifi, so there's no way he'll risk rocking that boat again for business and political reasons. I also think that signing a world class RW moves the dependency away from Vini (and Mbappe). It makes the Brazilian more disposable to the club.
It's also a test balloon to see how attached the fanbase is to him and other players. Considering the excitement around the player I'd say the experiment is proving more than successful.
Yeah, it's generally gone down really well, and I like the idea of moving some of the team's focus and prioritisation on a superstar player on the right-wing.
I don’t think the excitement is about the player specifically. More about the amount being spent. I don't see the appeal of getting Olise to be honest.
I think he was the best attacking player in Europe arguably. That's including his team mates. Excellent team first type of player.
I've always been excited by the prospect of signing an elite player and not of the money. What is the excitement in spending tons of money? For example I would prefer to get Kvara for 80 mill. then Olise for 150+. Another example - I wouldn't be excited if we were buying Isak for 130 or Wirtz for more, I would have been mad.
Ehhhhhhhhh? I understand he gets shutdown just like Vinicius but man a trident of Vini-Mbappe-Olise would be magnificent... We just need to hope Mbappe actually embracing playing centrally because whether he likes it or not he's past due developing into his next phase as being a striker. You have those three but then it get complicated in midfield
And who plays CF? Gonzalo? Endrick? Or Mbappe stays there? Or does Olise slot in on the left? IMO the Olise ship has sailed in 2024, once again thanks to Florentino and his Mbappe obsession. Paying 150 million for him when he was available for 60 two years ago is terrible management. Paying 200 million when they reject the 150 million is even more terrible management because its gross overpay. My hope is Riquelme takes over, prevents the Mourinho return, starts showing more initiative and tenacity in the transfer market, including being proactive in selling players instead of treating them with kid gloves. Bring Raul as the sporting director and a manager who will work in unison with Raul and share his ideas and philosophy about the game (is Morientes still coaching? lol). And then continue by fulfilling their requests. Everything else in terms of running the organization he should more or less copy from Florentino, with some modifications like the Castilla project. Start with selling Vinicius and bringing Haaland. None of this Mourinho-Olise business.
🚨 BREAKING: Michael Olise is READY to join Real Madrid. He has been informed of the club's interest, and he is WILLING to join.Real Madrid know about the player being willing to join, which is why they will make an official bid for him next week. @Ramon_AlvarezMM 🇫🇷⚪ pic.twitter.com/8H7o0hWgKF— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) June 6, 2026
Olise has been the best attacker in CL alongside Kvara. Also natural RW so no duplication Vini or Mbappe. I think RM will go near180 ME, but doubt Bayern will sell.
