We need to get two CBS. Konate still hasn’t signed a contract even though they said they were close weeks ago. Gvardiol and Konate would be ideal. Also wouldn’t mind bringing back Jacobo instead of Konate if it didn’t work out.
If there's any chance to bring Gvardiol in, I fail to see how we'd let him slip through our fingers. It's a no brainer.
Don't see Gvardiol as a realistic option, at all. We forget that a lot of elite players will not want to join this dumpster fire in the summer, especially with a polarising manager like Mourinho in charge.
Why would City let Gvardiol go? I’d take him in a heartbeat but I don’t buy this one yet. Konate has to stay far away man. That dude is calamitous. No thanks. Don’t care if he comes on a free.
Silva was offered to us but we rejected it. Wonder if we’ll go back to him if Jose wants him? Seems a player Jose likes.
There are rumours that 130 infractions verdict will be out in June. Maybe there's a chance of them selling the likes of Gvardiol if City gets relegated which is unlikely. City will probably get away with a light punishment.
Well, this will make you laugh. Premier League is proposing to allow clubs to negotiate settlements over alleged breaches of its financial rules rather that seeing their cases automatically refereed to an independent commission, according to Sky News' Mark Kleinman. pic.twitter.com/pWsokIhyWo— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) May 17, 2026 Basically, don’t want to deduct points or relegate them because it will finish their league as it’s known today
I think it's more of the case of give us your money and we will stop complaining about you having too much money, look we even made rules to make it easier for you to give us your money.

How realistical is Bernardo Silva signing?I dont track man city but he was a constant threat while we played them in CL in past years..he is more AMC than MC..we need more a creative midfielder
Don’t think we’ll go into next season with both Tchouameni and Fede. Tchouameni can’t play either side of a double pivot very well. He won’t be your DM because he lacks elite positional awareness and often makes fundamental mistakes. Fede is the ideal player to be the second player in a pivot, can fly up and down the pitch, and you have Thiago being groomed as his backup. If United come with an offer we should be listening intently.
Jude needs to be closer to goal if you are going to continue to play with no 9. He is your 10 behind Mbappe. Mourinho has always played a 4231.
I also can see us having a double pivot with one of Fede/Tchou and Rodri/Enzo. Jude/Arda as #10s. And if we need to finance the purchase of a Gvardiol/Bernardo/Rodri and someone else, my guess is we will need a big sale like Tchou or Fede, potentially also Vini, moving Rodrygo to LW.
Rodri will realistically be valued at about 50-60 mil. given age and contract length, Gvardiol i consider pretty impossible given the reputation of the player, the competition on the market in his position and the kind of investment that will take. Bayern would be totally in for Gvardiol if he'd be available. Just as an example.
My main issue with doing fantasy lineups is that to me, and many others it feels like several players are playing against each other (right now). I'm usually not a big tinfoil hat person but a team that has actual fights, eh, a crappy pass that another player has to chase after isn't all that hard to imagine. Some passes against Sevilla looked misplaced on purpose. Whoever is the next coach has to get that figured out first. Ego has to be out of the door.
Gvardiol has often said that he is a Real Madrid fan though; I think if he is available we would have a good chance for him, although fandom only takes you so far
He has two more years of contract and it's really not up to him. I also don't see the club dumping all that much money on a defender after they spent over 100 mil. on two players last summer. Alaba opens up a wage slot but if you extend Vini's contract, there goes that wage slot so you're most likely filling it with somebody coming back from loan or telling yourself you're fine with Asensio.
