I think it was @Zidane05 who liked Richard Rios

if Mou is indeed coming, I wouldn’t be shocked if he brought him

Hope a CB as well with Alaba's wages off the books. Militao can't stay healthy. Even if Rudiger stays, we need another CB.

I have real doubts Mou is being brought in because of his ability to identify, attract or develop top talent.

He’s probably already conceded to Flo things will be different this time around and he’s here to be a yes man instead of making demands sbd calling the shots.

Of course the public perception will be that he is in charge in case things don’t go well the Flo can back to his script of “I don’t make all the decisions” that he kept repeating in the latest interview.

We are being linked to a few Sporting mids, Hjulmand and Morita. Morita rumor seems like nonsense, as even though he is relatively beloved he is 31 and isn’t at a Madrid level. Hjulmand is a hot name for some EPL clubs like Man U and has quality and leadership but I’m not sure he has the skill needed to start in the Madrid midfield. Combative and has a solid long shot but I don’t see how he’d improve over Tchou at all.

    No talk of signings yet?

    Let's get Schlotterbeck
    Let's get Stiller or Rodri
    Let's get a RB (don't know who)
    Let's bring back Nico Paz
    Let's bring back Muñoz
    Let's bring back Endrick

    What else?

I guess there's no point signing forward players as they will never play a minute.

Summer couldn't arrive any faster, we need something new to believe in.

Yup agreed, but seems like a typical 6 Mourinho likes to have. I do think we’re selling one of Tchouameni or Fede this summer.

Froholdt would be who I would look at especially if we’re going with a double pivot.

    Nope.

No, I don't think he is athletic enough. Kinda stagnated.

Seems like Andre Silva wasn't a starter in big games under Mou. So he won't be an option for RM. Used to have a lot of hype couple of years ago. Otamendi - Tomas Araujo was his preferred CB pairing.

    JFD:

    Gvardiol, offered to Real Madrid

His contract expires on June 30, 2028. At the moment, there's no movement to finalize a deal, but the Croatian's agents are looking for a possible destination, and Real Madrid is one of the clubs he likes. Bernardo Silva has also been offered.

The move has caused quite a stir at Valdebebas. The club's priority is to strengthen its defense, especially at center-back, but they weren't expecting such a gesture from one of the most sought-after defenders in European football.

The center-back's contract with City expires on June 30, 2028. At the moment, there's no movement towards a transfer, but just in case, Gvardiol's agents are exploring potential destinations, and Real Madrid is one of the clubs the Croatian is keen to sign.

Another player offered, as this newspaper previously reported, was Bernardo Silva. The attacking midfielder is looking for a new club, and the only thing known about his future is that he has rejected Barcelona's offer. José Mourinho's arrival as Real Madrid manager could mean a change in the club's transfer activity.

Bernardo mostly played CM this season. Free transfer will appeal to RM. Mou likes verteran stars and Mendes is Bernardo's agent.

Gvardiol would be an instant upgrade, either CB or the LB position

Biggest issue with Mendes is he attaches another deal on the main one, so you end up having to pick up a second player off the clearance rack if you want the prime cut.

we’d have to be thick as ******** not to sit and negotiate a deal for this guy. Instantly changes the perspective of the defence.

Zero chance Man City just gives Gvardiol to us. He is considered a cornerstone there and seems pretty happy. If he moves it would be out of our price range. Rather Lukeba or Diomande for 80 million. Both in high demand right now. But I'd think of a right sided CB more than left. I have faith in Huijsen as a project.

Given there is growing murmur inside City that Pep is stepping down in the summer, I’d guess a few will follow who want something different.

Given his contract runs to 2028 I don’t think he’d be astronomically high in fee. Hes also been a player vocal of playing for Madrid

Not saying this isn't/won't cause issues - but in his defence I can't think of a horrible deal. I remember some drama in Mourinho giving them random debuts to drive up their stock (Fabinho and Pedro Mendes come to mind) But outside of Mendes most of his players, for us at least, have panned out.

Think Coin-throw was included in some other deal but he came up for us a few times, wasn’t great and his his own personal issues but not a bad backup to Marcelo

It's simple. Schlotterbeck for 60 million. No brainer.

Jon Martin from Real Sociedad would be a good add-on too. We need more Spanish players.

    Get both of them.
