We should've sold Vini Jr. and got Kvara or Olise when we had the chance.

Endrick, Paz and Jacobo will be considered “new signings”. That’s a defender, midfielder and a forward coming into the squad. Not sure that leaves much room for anyone else to come in?!?

There will be zero investment in big names. they’ll fire AA, maybe Perez will throw JAS to the wolves, but that’s about it.
waiting for the announcement of the new vinnie contract. He deserves it.

    Pretty much.

Rudiger will be renewed as well. Maybe even Carvajal.

I don't see us going for a top-tier CB as our "targets" have all renewed but I'm sure they have "secret" release clauses valid for RM only effective 2029.

Militao will be another "new signing".

    Pitarch could be promoted.

And then you have the FOMO "market opportunities" ala Mastantuono

We've become so pathetic in squad management; like Arsenal level of pathetic.

For the benefit of the team, one of Vini or Mbappe have to leave in the summer.

My preference would be Mbappe to stay because he’s simply better footballer but at this point, one of them have to leave regardless.

3 managers have failed to get these two working and nothing has changed.

Vini needs high IQ players next to him for him to play and Mbappe needs workers around him so he can just play his game. Neither one of them has what the other wants.

This experience or experiment or whatever you want to call it is over.

Perez needs to find his bollocks and make the tough decisions

Please do not renew carvajal and why would be Militio be new signing (we can get injured even if he runs in his dreams )

We need quality signing and not a bunch of mediocre players

Let Endrick stay one more season on loan

Apart from jacobo we need one more CB, RB and couple of midfielder

What if the players like him more than Arbeloa because he brings crepes and croissants to Valdebebas?

I’d been in positions of leadership in industries that are performance based

bringing coffee and donuts was ALWAYS win, as long as you were good at your job and they respected you of course.

If that wasn’t the case, you became kind of like a joke

I think Arbeloa is the former with this team

Some of the players were never going to respect him, not that he made it easy on himself with his "it's my fault" gimmick.

If Xabi Alonso wasn't respected, a guy with a much better career as a player - who was a winning coach in the Bundesliga, then Arbeloa had no chance.

The board really sent a message to the players with the handling of October's outburst, and that's when the bad results started coming in.

I am certain that if Bernabeu didn't whistle some players for weeks, our season would've been over in March. It seemed like nobody else held these players accountable, and the levels of effort showed it.

We had some good moments, but overall, I don't want Arbeloa at the helm next season.

Considering the other options, I'd be fine with Arbeloa.

Right now, from the rumored targets, only Klopp makes more sense the rest are terrible options.

Yeah I don’t recall where he was the issue in any of our games, maybe the Albacete game but that was right off the hire.

We’ve had some roster issues for 2 years straight, 3 really but Jude and Vini had amazing half of seasons each and Carlo made magic.
The main issue is the squad and then the coach. Unless it’s Klopp, I’d keep AA

The main issue with Arbs is he never ever subs out Vini, Jude and Mbappe regardless of how crap they play when fully fit. It’s always Arda getting subbed off which makes the team predictable.

    The main issue is Perez.

Arbeloa is a not even a caretaker, he's a mere placeholder.

When Arbeloa began his simping back in January, voices at RMBS were saying this is exactly what we need after Xabi. Good vibes 'n shit. How's that going?

The moment our results took a slight nosedive in February, several reports suggested that the players are not convinced by Arbeloa's tactics and subs. We'll see more of this in the coming weeks.

And that's how it is with servile individuals, they command no authority and garner no respect. They are temporary tools and mouthpieces.

He will end up discarded like a torn sock despite bobbing his head, gagging and swallowing at every half chance..

And that's why Perez is the problem, these Galactico-wannabes, with the full blessing and facilitation of Gramps, have full authority in the locker room and are above any consequence. For now, at least.

I've been conditioned by Real Madrid to think that manager doesn't matter.

Keep him. It doesn't really matter. They're just going to go out and play anyways. Reinforce the squad instead.

I agree with that, it we’ve got the wrong core of players who don’t know how to play with others or have hubris on their own ability.

Watching the footage of Vinny and Bellingham argue about passing and holding the ball too long is the pot calling the kettle black.

How did we successfully move Di Maria to a pressing CAM/CM and Bale to RW for the first time in his career, who (for a while) provided defensive cover as well, to now being seemingly unable to play Vini Jr and Mbappe in the same lineup? I just feel like there has to be a solution.

This is where the club has to start thinking outside the box but if the next manager needs to be an expert on pastries.,.. Hazard might be an interesting option.

Has legend in his own right ties to the club and current players, has proven the team can and will win major titles if he’s watching from the sidelines, all that in addition to obviously a former player with his experience will also have a “spot” to dine at when the team travels.

TBH with you, I don't even mind Arbeloa too much as a coach, but after two trophyless seasons I want a proven winner to come in and a proper project to take place. I've no patience for experiments. Someone is needed who these players will at least respect. That would take a big name, I know... So options are limited.

And that doesn't mean that no big transfers are needed. On the contrary, we need to put a lot of work in researching the market and selecting the optimal targets. No hype signings and "prospects". Proven players who act as no-nonsense glue for the team. And I think we really need to walk away from Vini+Mbappe duo. That has failed spectacularly if trophies are considered. Two years is enough.

We have a lot of talent, we just need to make a team out of it, and that won't happen without trimming the fat and having a coach that can change the culture.

You can't rebuild with this, you can't build around this. Anyone watching what has happened at PSG and what has happened at Real Madrid will understand how toxic the situation has become.

The team just not one unite, some players can't play with each other and that's obvious. Yes, the still score sometimes and so on, but in a long way there is no unite.
