Probably stopped running because we’ve forced him to play injured since January.

Lol. Sacked Xabi after 4 months and going for even more inexperienced system coach who hasn't competed for any titles? Let him be rather than ruin his career so early.

Apparently the problem with Xabi was that the club "didnt look close enough" to notice that hes just a sexy looking dummy, so glad to see that Cesc's evolution is followed CLOSELY. Things are looking up!

By the logic of our board, only coaches who would be an upgrade to Xabi are Klopp, Pep, Flick or Luis Enrique. None of them are available or would join us.

Every other coach would be a downgrade, Cesc hasn’t won anything, but has potential. Same for most of these coaches.

    Good luck board.

Nothing better than a former Barca super talent for Madrid with zero contact points to the club. A guy that turned down playing for the club will surely join as a coach.

Pep, Flick and Luis Enrique will never happen.

Even convincing Klopp will be extremely difficult and will need serious concessions from Perez.

It's quite concerning that we are in March and the club hasn't the slightest of clues about who will be managing the group the next season. Some of these names, particularly a person like Cesc, are so absurd that I can't even take it seriously. Not to mention the club has once again built up a name of being such a toxic working environment for managers that I am fairly positive that any serious, high-quality manager in his prime won't want to touch the job. And yes, the working environment for a manager at Real Madrid has always been difficult, but the fact that this group of mostly okay-ish players has received the key to the house and are seemingly dictating who manages them and how, is a major red flag for any serious manager.

There's plenty of noise about Klopp going the executive route and taking over as a director/consultant somewhere.

I would also consider that this is a world cup year so every process happens around that space.

A I said, none or available or would join us.

Which makes the sacking of Xavi even more moronic.

The season ended once they sacked Xabi, they gave up all the prices. We were 2 points behind, in the Copa and third place in CL.

    Look at us now.

I don't care about any of the coaches mentioned. People overthink this stuff.

I believe the next manager will either be Allegri or Scaloni. Both of whom will likely not last longer than Xabi. Poch and Cesc seems like the dumbest options to pick.

I didn’t think it would be possible for the management to get any worse a grade than they have now, but if they hire Allegri it will be an all time low.

    I disagree.

It's like people forget former disaster hires we've made. The memory of a fly.

Allegri makes a guy like Capello look like Hansi Flick. Most conservative coach of top teams in Europe in the last decade. I hope he doesnt get near the post, and if he does it will end badly.

Allegri actually seems like he could be a decent hire. He is very adaptable to whatever team he has, people forget he had a very fun Milan team back in the day with Ibra, and also had a stretch where he took Juve twice to CL finals playing decent football with flair players like Pirlo, Pogba and Dybala. Every time we played them hes been really good at exploiting weaknesses (the time he had Juve spam cross to Mandzukic at Caravajals post and got a 2-0 lead at the Bernabeu comes to mind).

I dont know anything about his man management, that will be an important thing to feel out, but I would be more excited about Allegri than Mourinho, and I loved Mourinho here before.

RM approached Allegri in 2021. But he chose Juve as he didn't want to leave Italy. Juve gave him three seasons, but he wasn't able to turn the situation around while Milan, Napoli won league titles. Feel he's become outdated.

So what is up to date? Milking dead ball situations and extending break up play while keeping the ball out of play?

Feel like people are falling for the marketing pitch again while forgetting the fundamentals.

This club needs a coach that matters, has a clear sense of responsibility and has the team playing hard. From there you can discuss tactics, but if your team is soft and lacks accountability, you end up just talking nonsense about rock and roll football and other nonsense then quitting and just throwing your big big plans overboard at the first point of resistance.

This team needs somebody with experience and self respect that knows his worth.

Doesn't matter what football Arteta plays if he delivers PL title to Arsenal after 22 years.

Maybe homesick Allegri would reinvent himself after disappointing spell at Juve. Conte lost both Osimhen, Kvara and won Serie A while Allegri was stagnated at Juve despite getting 3 years. He will get a season max at RM.

Then that somebody will not want to coach this club in its current state.

The club either gets another cuck and hopes for the best or it undoes the brattiness and spoiling that it embedded by getting rid of some big names and starting over with a coach that has the qualities you prescribed.

I think we'll go down the much easier first route, rinse and repeat.

Quite a few RM players are not good enough especially given their inflated egos and refusal to work hard consistently.

Meanwhile Barca players are willing to work hard for Flick rather than acting like they are the second coming of MSN, Xavi and Iniesta talent wise.

Bernardo Silva is doing his annual not really sure I wanna stay at City thing. He would be an excellent option for our midfield, can play the Modric role and has got personality.
