Perez will never entertain the thought of €90m+ for people like Bastoni, Romero or Saliba..

Our strategy at CB (which I don't think should be absolute) has been strictly talents and free agents.

This team needs some players in their prime. Too many projects....very talented projects, but projects nevertheless.

At least, 1 defensive leader + 2 midfield leaders will do us wonders.

Imo we only have 2 truly tier 1 players on the team right now: Mbappe and Courtois.

Guys like Jude and Huijsen can be ....but are not there yet.

Guys like Vini, Rodrygo, Cama, Militao and Fede should already be there.....but simply haven't gotten to that level (for various reasons).

Carvajal and Rudiger were at some point, but time has caught up.

Starting level CB should be 1st priority. I don't know how long can they keep going with this patch up job in the backline.

They don't have a clear starting level CB on the roster. Militao does not count because of his health. Asencio is playing better but he isn't a clear cut starter. And Huijson is at best your 3rd or 4th CB because of his defensive concerns. He is more a project than anything.

If we are being specific, than the prefence is a LCB. You got Militao/Asencio for RCB, and Jacobo Ramon maybe comes back in a year to play RCB too. But outside of Huijson, there isn't a proper LCB. This should be obvious to anyone.

 

I am fairly sure the favorite is Mourinho. This is like when Floro grabbed Carlo from Everton.
Floro and Raul have never actually had the best relationship. And a large part of the fanbase isn't exactly pro-Raul when it comes to the coaching job. They will see it like when Barca hired Xavi. Hiring based on name only.

Unai Emery
Tuchel

Tuchel will be difficult - depends what happens at the World Cup.

 

Tuchel vs Jr. and Bellingham will be comedy

 

As long as Floro is President, someone like Klopp is not possible. Those type of coaches are not going to accept Floro and his crew having complete control over transfers, interfering in the hiring of assistant and fitness coaches, and letting players dictate things.

All you have to do is look at Klopp's comments following the firing of Xabi. The model Floro has set up at Madrid is not acceptable to those type of coaches.

 

I think it will be Raul, and not because he will be the first choice, but because of others saying no to Florentino (like Zizou and Klopp). This also happened a few years back.

So here's an interesting one: Raul or Mou RMBS people?...

I appreciate Mou for everything he's done with the club in a period that was otherwise very tough. But come on now, you guys... You can't seriously think he's the right guy anymore. He hasn't been a top coach for a while now.

 

This guy will get fired after the first week of training.
I’d rather bring back the current Mourinho than give Arteta another chance. This guy not only plays the most boring football in the world, but he’s also one of the biggest losers out there.
He should be saying “thank you” to Arsenal for keeping him as their coach for so long and letting him spend over £1 billion on players, only to win one FA Cup and two Community Shields in six and a half years.
