    What exactly was his sin? Was he doing Hoddle's wife or something?

    He'd have been doing Hoddle a favour, cos not even Hodd isn't doing that (he's separated). Seriously though, Hoddles treatment of Rebrov makes me so annoyed. Rebrov is pure quality, he's scored 24 Champions League goals *FFS, which makes Hodd's behaviour all the more odd. I mean, Rebrov or Iverson? Rebrov or Ferdinand? It's cut and dried as far as I'm concerned. He should at the very least be on the bench.

    * for f.u.c.k.s. sake

    I am glad to see others find confusion in this decision as well.... I mean why the hell buy him if you have no intention of using him. Wasn't he the club record for transfer fee? How much money are we going to lose on that deal???

    He was a George Graham buy. Hoddle just doesn't fancy him. I see him going for between £4-6 million.
    He was a club record, he cost £11.5m. I think thats about $15m

    i find it baffling that spurs have never given rebrov a chance i fear that this is something they will live to regret when they sell him on the cheap and he goes and scores a sackfull of goals.(probably a few at white hart lane if he stays in the epl as he wants too)

    I understand that, but how many opportunities to start did he get under Graham? I am asking because he didn't play much more under GG than he has under Hoddle, and I don't remeber how long he was with the team before we jettisoned GG.
