We've got bacon-wrapped hot dogs and they throw people in jail for selling 'em. Suck it, L.A. Suck it hard. (Though I will admit, the whole grilled poblano on top *does* sound mighty tasty...)
Well, if someone was walking a cart of them (and selling them) through the Barra tailgate they'd be arrested too. After being beat up and the cart thrown into the Anacostia Stadium vendors aren't too happy when anything is sold for cash in the parking lots at any stadium. Unless of course, they get at least 60% of it.
A-OK? Those suckers saved my life. I was going down for the count until I bought myself two of those bad boys.
No offense to any Barra cooks, myself included, but that was some of the best food I've ever had in a sporting venue parking lot. At the MLS Cup I had two before the game and two after. Freakin' delicious!!! I had thought about going to LA for a road game. My thought was to go out there for a few dogs and catch a United game while I'm there. Yes, they are that good. Someone even asked to use this pic as an avatar after the Cup. Can't remember who though.
