unfortunately that's an attitude held by many US business people. I worked for a multinational that does business in both countries and I came across casual comments like that from ppl I dealt with in the US.

 

More pronounced in the case of Canada, but many Murricans think of the entire rest of the world this way to some degree.

I fkn hate using 2 hearing aids and still being deaf. My eyes are still excellent, considering my age. I use readers for fine print. But like people who need glasses I reach for my hearing aids as soon as I wake much as the reach for their specs. I get tired of asking people to repeat what they’ve said.

2 cool things with mine is my phone and TV play right into my aids. Without disturbing Mrs scouse and sound a lot better than the TV or phone speakers. Thanks to King Harald Bluetooth.
