Having driven down through Oregon (and staying at and seeing a number of beautiful places) a month or so ago, have you gotten enuf rain to quell all those fires that were burning when we were there? At one point, I-5 was the firebreak for a pretty big fire - one side of the road burning and smoking and the other unburned, at least when we passed thru. And we went up to Crater Lake and couldn't see the water for the smoke.

 

We did have quite a bit of rain in November but on the mid coast we’ve had a sunny cool dry spell. Blue blue skys.

I've never seen this before. It's a BBC piece on the Kop from 1974. Brought back some memories but shows how powerful the Kop once was holding well over 20,000.

 

I looked at the photo then googled up wind damage in Liverpool. Nada.

I’d be really old by then.

When it says “otherwise take” they didn’t finish with “the fastest chip we have at the moment.” In their header.
Scary when you think of Quantum AI and when it decides they don’t need humans anymore because they are useless and destructive.

Can be a great thing if they can keep it harnessed but do you trust humans to stop tinkering.

Coincidentally I’ve just finished reading a sci-fi series about how the thought processes are controlled by QI mostly in a good way, to stop humans destroying themselves.
