Yeah, um, so JD Vance posted a meme of himself posing as Trump’s wife. That’s absolutely normal. 1862285652609388954 is not a valid tweet id I wonder what bathroom he uses?
anyone feel like throwing up? Crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun on Friday fulfilled a promise he made after spending $6.2 million on an artwork featuring a banana duct-taped to a wall -- by eating the fruit. At one of Hong Kong's priciest hotels, Sun chomped down on a banana in front of dozens of journalists and influencers after giving a speech hailing the work as "iconic" and drew parallels between conceptual art and cryptocurrency.
Came across this today and realized what a short shit Harvey is https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DkNEPbM9y/?mibextid=UalRPS
True Class... We here often focus on celebrating the struggle for success on the football field. But as Klopp himself has often said, "this is just a game." I think we all sometimes get too caught up in the primary goal of our efforts to succeed at something and dismiss (or are unaware of) all the things that go along with the effort to be really good at something and to succeed at it. It is the very effort that we put into trying to succeed and be the best at something that is truly the special thing. That journey itself gives value not only to our own lives but also to those who are along with us in this brief moment we share with one another. Even if we don't get where we wanted to, or expected to, we often forget that those very efforts act as an example for others. I think this, as clearly reticent Klopp is to highlight it (and I'm sure he gets many of these types of messages), is an unseen aspect of the lives of people who have taken on professions in the public eye. I wish we would see more of this sort of self-awareness in people who have aimed to succeed and been successful in high profile positions. It might give some degree of realism to those that we don't see eye to eye with (politically, socially, etc.), and would also unmask those in public positions who are truly sociopathic and don't care about others or do anything for them. In earlier eras, this was called "noblesse oblige." While I don't agree with the original trappings associated with noble birth, the concept of recognizing that those to whom much has been given should understand that they therefore have much to give, does still hold. All too often this seems ignored in modern times, and we only celebrate the individual success of a person. I wish we could also demand from one another some recognition, and humility, that we are all in this together, and celebrate the striving as much as we do the success... Anyway, those are my holiday thoughts on the matter. I'll now go back to enjoying Michigan upsetting that "university to the south" in college football today...
And Papa Joe pardons Hunter despite his previous proclamations that he wouldn't - who didn't see that coming? But despite all the uproar from the right, it will be All Quiet when the prez-elect pardons himself as soon as he's sworn in. Dontcha love politics?
Should have all his fingers broken by mallet whack - to make it that bit harder to pick up the next banana.....
I see it more as simply that there used to be an editorial class at play in most of the important facets of the democratized world- and though the consequences of that social fabric mould weren't always for the absolute best they sure as sh!t 1,000,000 times outweigh the poisoned miasma of idea emissions when every b@stard with a finger is given access to a keyboard and an increasingly irrationalized audience....... In short, a world where an infantile moron like Trump isn't finally considered just that.....
In fairness, if there has ever been an overdoing of a set of charges due to the accused's political lineage this guy has been enduring that. Nobody goes to jail for that kind of thing but he prob would have. Still - the optics do give more fuel to the merry-go-round of bullsh!t
I agree with that. he should prob have said: I would need to look at the options and considerations at the time.
All the optics should go out the window. The idiots in this country re-elected a rapist and convicted felon, who has already pardoned the equivalent of mob bosses, and soon will be pardoning his loyal insurrectionists. But ... Hunter Biden. Sure.
Oh, f.ucking dearie me! Disappointed much? Jason Zugai is not a name many should or would know. VP of a Steelworkers Local in PA. Like a lot of heavy industry and union jobs, the steel industry has a lot of pressure regarding financial profitability problems. One way out was to allow Nippon Steel to buy US Steel. Keeps the steel industry alive in the Rust Belt, keeps union jobs alive, pretty much maintains the status quo Anyway back to friend Zugai. Campaigned actively for Lumpy in PA. Got out the Lumpy vote, solid union guy, supporting a narcissist who is anti-union. Lumpy says, no way no how will he allow US Steel to be sold to Nippon Steel. Thereby causing closures, job losses, union destruction. And Zugai? “I am very frustrated with the news that came out last night, I didn’t expect that to come out. So that was like a gut punch.” I’ve been solidly union my whole life, been a member of more than a few, fought here and there to bring the union into workplaces and all I can really think to say to Mr. Zugai is, “ f.uck you! Enjoy!”
