This was on there FB. They deleted the pic after I commented it that this isn't helping their credibility in the sports world. Pretty funny overall though. And in case you can't read it, the quote says, "The official game ball of the 1994 World Cup"
Your second sentence is almost incomprehensible and you seem to have some confusion regarding the words 'there' and 'their'. Just judging you as you judge others. Shit happens.
The guys that do social media stuff like Facebook for MLS have tons of shit to do, photos, video, content. That's a very minor mislabeling of a photo. That suggests absolutely nothing about MLS, or anything/anyone else.
a case where i wish we had a forum where we could send posters like this to. i mean really? you're getting worked up over a stupid little thing like accidentally stating 1994 instead of 1990? shit like this happens ALL the time, all over the world, not just in sports but in everything.
this is funny too: Montreal already is assured of fielding the league's 19th team and cities such as Atlanta, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York, Phoenix and San Diego are in the mix to be No. 20.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110311...uYXRlX3N1bW1hcnlfbGlzdARzbGsDd2lscG9uc3dvdWxk here it says: "cities" in Florida which could mean any city. Miami doesn't have a team.
This reminds of that time Colin Powell went in front of the United Nations and showed maps and documents that stated categorically that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Even I, who have given the Rapids Media Department a beat-down for some somewhat trivial mistakes, can see this as meaningless. (To be fair, the Rapids Media Department deserved it after a string of dumb mistakes, even if each one was fairly minor)
This thread is in the hallowed halls of hallery when it comes to BigSoccer. Yes. Hallery is a word... dammit.
